Job Summary

- Serve as, and perform all work of a Mechanic for the
- Road and Bridge Department. Employees may be trained and promoted when
- qualified to perform duties of each Level; (Level I, II, or III).
Responsibilities And Duties

- Level I -Responsible for repairing and maintaining all trucks and equipment.
- Level II - Must be skilled in hydraulics, electronic and mechanical workings of
- equipment and trucks.
- Level III - Must have advanced knowledge in hydraulics, electronic and
- mechanical workings of equipment and trucks.
Qualifications And Skills

- Must be able to lift or move 50 pounds or more. Must demonstrate an ability to
- work with well with others. Must be a Team Player. Must be DOT certified and
- have a CDL License. A High School Diploma or GED is required.

- CERF Savings vests after 5 years; employees may elect additional payroll deductions and receive a 50% county match up to 4% of gross pay.
