Qualifications And Skills

  • High School Diploma or GED required. Experience with the State of MO JIS system a plus.
  • LANGUAGE SKILLS:
  • Must have the ability to read and interpret documents and other reports in the Juvenile Office.

  • Individual must demonstrate the ability to work with others in the department as well as

Participation

  • Once enrolled, participants remain in CERF until they terminate county employment for more than 30 days.

Employee Contributions

  • Non-LAGERS participants are also required to make a 0.7% contribution to the 401(a) plan.
  • LAGERS participants hired on or after February 25, 2002 contribute 4% of gross salary.

Vesting And Retirement

  • Members become vested after eight years of continuous creditable service during which they receive pay for at least 1,000 hours in each year.
  • A vested member is eligible for a full benefit at age 62 or an actuarially reduced benefit as early as age 55.
  • If an employee leaves county service before vesting, employee contributions are refunded or may be rolled over to another eligible retirement plan.
