Wednesday, April 30, 2025: This bid process resulted in the above response, which were
opened in the Commission Hearing Room, in public. A decision was made to allow time for a
thorough review of information by Road & Bridge Interim Administrator, Jack Cole.
An agenda request was made, and approved, to deliver a formal recommendation for award to
the Taney County Commission on Monday, May 5, 2025.
Monday, May 5, 2025: After a complete and thorough review of the only response received,
please note that Section 1 was not fully compliant through acknowledging items 1.1 through 1.35.
Each page WAS acknowledged through an initial at the bottom of each page, (Section 3.6 states
“The Taney County Commission has the right to accept or reject any part or parts of all bids, to
waive any informalities or technicalities and to accept the offer the County Commission considers
the most advantageous to the County. Taney County reserves the right to award this bid on an
item-by-item basis, or an “all or none” basis, whichever is in the best interest of the County.”) and
therefore recommends the Commission waive this requirement and move forward in the award to
Mid-South Steel Products, Diggins, Missouri and ask the Commission for a motion vote as such.
The Taney County Commission made a motion and it passed by vote.
