TANEY COUNTY BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT
WEDNESDAY November, 15 2023, 6:00 P.M.
COUNTY COMMISSION HEARING ROOM
TANEY COUNTY COURT HOUSE
Call to Order
The Board of Adjustment held a meeting on November, 15 2023 at 6:00 p.m. located at the
Taney County Courthouse in the County Commission Hearing Room at 132 David Street,
Forsyth, Missouri. Chairman Trenton Edwards called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. Scott
Starrett established a quorum and an explanation of public hearing procedures, presentation of
exhibits and governing statutes.

Rick Persinger
Also present was Planning and Zoning Administrator, Scott Starrett and Zoning Coordinator,
Presley Cozort.
Review and Action
Mr. Caudill moved to approve the October 18, 2023 Regular Meeting Minutes. Mr. Herd
seconded the motion. The motion passed by vote: 5 (aye), 0 (nay) and 0 (absent).
Mr. Edwards swore everyone in who signed up to speak during the meeting.
Reconsideration Requests
#2023-002 A: Requester Henry Sivils was present. Mr. Roebuck moved to approve the
reconsideration request. Mr. Herd seconded the motion. The motion failed to pass by vote: 0
(aye), 5 (nay) and 0 (absent).
#2023-003 A: Requester Kenieshiear Czetty was present. Mr. Persinger moved to approve the
reconsideration request. Mr. Herd seconded the motion. The motion passed by vote: 5 (aye), 0
(nay) and 0 (absent).
Rehearing Request
#2023-004 A: Requester James Wurster was present. Mr. Herd moved to approve the rehearing
request. Mr. Caudill seconded the motion. The motion passed by vote: 3 (aye), 2 (nay) and 0
(absent).
Public Hearings
#23-007 V: Applicant Joseph Droege was present. No one was present to speak for or against the
application. Mr. Roebuck moved to approve the variance as requested due to it meeting the
definition of undue hardship because of the topography of the property. Mr. Herd seconded the
motion. The motion passed by vote: 5 (aye), 0 (nay) and 0 (absent).
#23-008 V: Applicant Christian Corley was present. No one was present to speak for or against
the application. Mr. Persinger moved to approve the variance as presented due to the topography
of the lot. Mr. Caudill seconded the motion. The motion passed by vote: 5 (aye), 0 (nay) and 0
(absent).

Adjournment
Mr. Herd moved to adjourn the meeting at 7:25 p.m. Mr. Caudill seconded the motion. The
motion passed by vote: 5 (aye), 0 (nay) and 0 (absent).
