TANEY COUNTY BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT
WEDNESDAY July 19, 2023, 6:00 P.M.
COUNTY COMMISSION HEARING ROOM
TANEY COUNTY COURT HOUSE
Call to Order
The Board of Adjustment held a meeting on July19, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. located at the Taney
County Courthouse in the County Commission Hearing Room at 132 David Street, Forsyth,
Missouri. Chairman Trenton Edwards called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. Scott Starrett
established a quorum and an explanation of public hearing procedures, presentation of exhibits
and governing statutes.

Also present was Planning and Zoning Administrator, Scott Starrett and Zoning Coordinator,
Presley Cozort.
Review and Action
Mr. Roebuck moved to approve the May 17, 2023 Regular Meeting Minutes. Mr. Persinger
seconded the motion. The motion passed by vote: 5 (aye) and 0 (nay).
Mr. Edwards swore everyone in who signed up to speak during the meeting.
Public Hearings
#23-001A: Applicant Arnold Artz was present. No one was present to speak for the application.
Ashley McConnell, Alison Davis, Fred Scharbrough, Rachael Brown, Jim Brown, James Slater,
Anthony Booher, Shannon Nelson, Mary Villers, Lane Roberts, Greg Bolin, Jon Lee and Leah
Walden were all present to speak against. Mr. Persinger moved to approve the appeal due to one
reason for denial didn’t apply, the road issue appears to be resolved showing it is usable for an
RV and the applicant having an entrance permit from Taney County Road & Bridge; as well as
the owner living on site wouldn’t adversely affect the surrounding neighborhood. Mr. Caudill
seconded the motion. The motion passed by vote: 4 (aye) and 1 (nay).

Adjournment
Mr. Herd moved to adjourn the meeting at 7:53 p.m. Mr. Roebuck seconded the motion. The
motion passed by vote: 5 (aye) and 0 (nay).
