TANEY COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION
PUBLIC HEARING & REGULAR MEETING
MONDAY June 13, 2022, 6:00 P.M.
COUNTY COMMISSION HEARING ROOM
TANEY COUNTY COURT HOUSE
The Taney County Planning Commission held a meeting on Monday, June 13, 2022 located at
Taney County Courthouse in the County Commission Hearing room; 132 David Street, Forsyth,
Missouri. Vice Chairman Dave Stewart called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.
Mr. Starrett established a quorum, read a statement outlining the procedures for the meeting and
presented the exhibits.

Also present was Planning and Zoning Administrator, Scott Starrett and Zoning Coordinator,
Presley Cozort.
Review and Action
Mr. Huff moved to approve the Regular Meeting Minutes from May 10, 2022. Mr. Holman
seconded the motion. The motion passed by vote: 6 (aye), 0 (nay) and 3 (absent).
Public Hearing & Final Vote
#22-013 & #22-015 Rezone: Applicant Brandon Monsanto was present. Leland Goode, Cynthia
& Kenton Wilczyski, Michael Holsteen, Bobbi and Tommy Utzman and were present to speak
against.
Mr. Hoenes moved to deny the recommendation of Rezoning Request of application #22-013 for
an amendment to the Taney County Zoning Maps by Monsanto Properties, LLC for the parcel
located at 315 Idylwild Dr, Ridgedale, Missouri to be rezoned from R-1 Zoning District to RR-1
Zoning District in the form of a Resolution sent to the Taney County Commission. Mr. Haes
seconded the motion. The motion passed by vote: Randy Fogle (aye), Randy Haes (aye), Thom
Holman (aye), Dave Stewart (aye), Devin Huff (aye), Roger Hoenes (aye), Howard Kitchen
(absent), George Cramer (absent) and Doug Faubion (absent).
Mr. Holman moved to deny the Rezoning Request of application #22-015 for an amendment for
the Taney County Zoning Maps by Hartford Rentals, LLC for the parcel located at 149 Idylwild
Dr, Ridgedale, Missouri to be rezoned from R-1 Zoning District to RR-1 Zoning District in the
form of a Resolution sent to the Taney County Commission. Mr. Fogle seconded the motion. The
motion passed by vote: Randy Fogle (aye), Randy Haes (aye), Thom Holman (aye), Dave
Stewart (aye), Devin Huff (aye), Roger Hoenes (aye), Howard Kitchen (absent), George Cramer
(absent) and Doug Faubion (absent).
#22-014 Rezone: Applicant Jorge Benmen Lizardi was present. Bruce Moreau was present to
speak for the application. . Mr. Holman moved to approve the Rezoning Request of application
#22-014 for an amendment for the Taney County Zoning Maps by 417 Masonry & Construction,
LLC for the parcel located at 18-6.0-14-002-006-013.000, Fremont St, Branson, Missouri to be
rezoned from R-1 Zoning District to R-2 Zoning District in the form of a Resolution sent to the
Taney County Commission. Mr. Haes seconded the motion. The motion passed by vote: Randy
Fogle (nay), Randy Haes (aye), Thom Holman (aye), Dave Stewart (aye), Devin Huff (aye),
Roger Hoenes (aye), Howard Kitchen (absent), George Cramer (absent) and Doug Faubion
(absent).
#22-008 Rezone: WITHDREW
#22-023 CUP: Applicant Bradley Herschend was present. Jim Roberston, Kevin Hennessy, Kelly
Anstaett, and Preston Roberston were present to speak against. Mr. Huff moved to approve the
application. Mr. Haes seconded the motion. The motion passed by vote: 5 (aye), 1 (abstain) and 3
(absent).
#22-024 CUP: Applicants Joseph & Stephanie Cousin were present. No one was present to speak
for or against. Mr. Haes moved to approve the application. Mr. Fogle seconded the motion. The
motion passed by vote: 6 (aye), 0 (nay) and 3 (absent).
#22-025 CUP: Applicant Tim Nobles was not present. Mr. Huff moved to postpone to the next
scheduled meeting of July 11, 2022. Mr. Holman seconded the motion. The motion passed by
vote: 6 (aye), 0 (nay) and 3 (absent).

Adjournment
Mr. Haes moved to adjourn the meeting at 8:00 p.m. Mr. Huff seconded the motion. The motion
passed by vote: 6 (aye), 0 (nay) and 3 (absent).
