Wednesday, August 23, 2023: This bid process resulted in four (4) Vendor responses, which were opened,
in the Commission Hearing Room, with the assistance of Brad Daniels, Sheriff, publicly. Two (2) responses
were immediately disqualified due to not adhering to the bidding requirements. A decision was made to
allow time for a thorough review of said information.
A formal agenda request to make an award recommendation on Wednesday, August 30, 2023 to the Taney
County Commission was requested and approved.
Wednesday, August 30, 2023: After a thorough review of the detailed pricing offered by the two (2)
remaining responses, Sheriff Brad Daniels and myself recommend awarding Princip Defense LLC, Mount
Pleasant, SC, as the best option for Taney County, and ask the Commission for a motion vote as such.
The Taney County Commission made a motion to award Princip Defense LLC, Mount Pleasant, SC and
the motion passed unanimously by vote.
