Wednesday, January 11, 2023: This bid process resulted in the above two (2) responses, which
were opened in the Commission Hearing Room, in public. A decision was made to allow time for
a thorough review of said information by Road & Bridge Administrator, Devin Huff, and Sheriff
Brad Daniels. There were a couple of clarifications to work through.
Thursday, January 12, 2023: Sheriff Daniels and Mr. Huff chatted with myself regarding their
site visit and discussions with vendors. Although both of them could provide paint booth areas,
there was some question as to how secure some of our vehicles would be.
An agenda request was made, and approved, to deliver a formal recommendation for award to
the Taney County Commission on Tuesday, January 17, 2023.
Tuesday, January 17, 2023: After a complete and thorough review of the two (2) responses
received, both department heads are recommending awarding to Kivett’s Body Shop, LLC,
Hollister, Missouri, as secondary provider and Southside Body Shop, Kirbyville, Missouri as
tertiary provider, and ask for a motion vote from the Taney County Commission to award as such.
The Taney County Commission awarded Kivett’s Body Shop, LLC, Hollister, Missouri, as
secondary provider and Southside Body Shop, Kirbyville, Missouri as tertiary provider.
