Friday, August 12, 2022: The bid process resulted in one (1) response, which was opened in the
Commission Hearing Room with the assistance of Bridget Collins, Road & Bridge Staff, in the
absence of Devin Huff, Road & Bridge Administrator. Initial details were noted and documented.
After review by Mr. Huff, an agenda request was made, and approved, to deliver a formal
recommendation for award to the Taney County Commission on Monday, August 15, 2022.
Monday, August 15, 2022: During the review process, it was noted that Ozark Kenworth Inc. dba
MHC Kenworth did not comply with the requirements in Section 1 of the RFB, but did acknowledge
at the bottom of pages 3-6. Under STANDARD TERMS AND CONDITIONS 3.6 states “The Taney
County Commission has the right to accept or reject any part or parts of all bids, to waive any
informalities or technicalities and to accept the offer the County Commission considers the most
advantageous to the County. Taney County reserves the right to award this bid on an item-by-
item basis, or an “all or none” basis, whichever is in the best interest of the County.” You have full
liberty to waive if you so choose. We are seeking direction from the Taney County Commission.
After some discuss, the Taney County Commission voted to deny on the basis it is no longer
available from Ozark Kenworth Inc. dba MHC Kenworth, as it has been sold.
