TANEY COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION
PUBLIC HEARING & REGULAR MEETING
MONDAY November 8, 2021, 6:00 P.M.
COUNTY COMMISSION HEARING ROOM
TANEY COUNTY COURT HOUSE
The Taney County Planning Commission held a meeting on Monday, November 8, 2021 located
at Taney County Courthouse in the County Commission Hearing room; 132 David Street,
Forsyth, Missouri. Chairman Howard Kitchen called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.
Mr. Starrett established a quorum, read a statement outlining the procedures for the meeting and
presented the exhibits.

Also present was Planning and Zoning Administrator, Scott Starrett and Zoning Coordinator,
Presley Cozort.
Review and Action
Mr. Faubion moved to approve the October 12, 2021 Regular Meeting Minutes. Mr. Cramer
seconded the motion. The motion passed: 8 (aye) – 0 (nay)
Mr. Huff moved to limit the speaking time to four minutes excluding the applicant. Mr. Haes
seconded the motion. The motion passed: 8 (aye) – 0 (nay)
Public Hearing & Final Vote
#21-012 Rezoning: Representative Greg Richards was present for applicant Lifestyle
Contractors, LLC. Mike Zsiga, Terry Fleeman and Barbara Fleeman were present to speak
against the application. Mr. Faubion moved to recommend approval of application #21-012
Rezoning for an amendment to the Taney County Zoning Maps by Lifestyle Contractors, LLC
for the parcels located at 1707 Lakeshore Drive, Branson, Missouri to be rezoned from R-3 to
NR-3 Zoning District in the form of a Resolution sent to the Taney County Commission. Mr.
Fogle seconded the motion. With the added recommendation to the County Commission for
approval: If the shared well has to be upgraded for sufficient water supply to the nightly rentals
proposed and the Redbud Shore Estates Condominiums the cost will be covered by Lifestyle
Contractors, LLC. The motion passed: 8 (aye) – 0 (nay)
#21-030 CUP: Representative Brad Youngblood was present for applicants Jason Hyde and
Denise Trawick. Tim Kidwell, Jack Coe, John Lee, Brenda Coe, Barbara Webb, Becky Penrod
and Jim Webb were present to speak against the application. Mr. Haes moved to deny the
application based on the width of Skyline Road at the duplex driveway to the main road being
narrow and would not provide safe access to the duplex and no documentation being provided to
the Planning Commission for an easement on MoDOT. Also the driveway/ Skyline Road is not
sufficient for the number of vehicles the nightly rental will generate. Mr. Huff seconded the
motion. The motion passed: 8 (aye) – 0 (nay)
#21-031 CUP: Applicant Emily and Hunter Carr were present. No one signed up to speak for or
against. Mr. Cramer moved to approve the application. Mr. Huff seconded the motion. The
motion passed: 8 (aye) – 0 (nay)

Mr. Haes moved to adjourn the meeting at 7:37 p.m. Mr. Hoenes seconded the motion. The
motion passed: 8 (aye) – 0 (nay)
