TANEY COUNTY COMMISSION
BID AWARD

BID DATE: Wednesday, September 29, 2021
BID FOR: Radar Signs (6 or more)
BID NUMBER: RFB# 202108-485

RESPONSES RECEIVED Total Bid Amount
(Company)

Radarsign, LLC, $18,540 ($3,090 unit price)
Marietta, Georgia

Wednesday, June 23, 2021: The sole response received in a timely manner was opened from
the above listed company today in public, with the assistance of Devin Huff, Road & Bridge
Administrator, and initial details were reviewed. Let it be noted that there was another response
received but it was received after the closing date of Monday, September 27th at 5pm. The one,
qualified, response will be thoroughly reviewed by Mr. Huff.
Friday, October 1, 2021: A request has been made, and approved, to deliver a formal
recommendation for award to the Taney County Commission on Monday, October 4, 2021.
Monday, June 28, 2021: During the review process for Radarsign, LLC, it was noted that they
did not comply with the requirements in Section 1 of the RFB, but did acknowledge the page at
the bottom of pages 3-6. My first inclination is to disqualified for not adhering to bidding
requirements, but this is the 2nd letting for this solicitation and under STANDARD TERMS AND
CONDITIONS 4.2 states “The Taney County Commission has the right to accept or reject any
part or parts of all bids, to waive technicalities and to accept the offer the County Commission
considers the most advantageous to the County. Taney County reserves the right to award this
bid on an item-by-item basis, or an “all or none” basis, whichever is in the best interest of the
County.” You have full liberty to waive if you so choose. We are seeking direction from the Taney
County Commission.
After some discussion and in the best interest of Taney County, the Taney County Commission
made a motion to waive the technicality and award this RFB to Radarsign, LLC.
Thank you.
