TANEY COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION
PUBLIC HEARING & REGULAR MEETING
MONDAY May 10, 2021, 6:00 P.M.
COUNTY COMMISSION HEARING ROOM
TANEY COUNTY COURT HOUSE
The Taney County Planning Commission held a meeting on Monday, May 10, 2021 located at
Taney County Courthouse in the County Commission Hearing room; 132 David Street, Forsyth,
Missouri. Chairman Howard Kitchen called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.
Mr. Starrett established a quorum, read a statement outlining the procedures for the meeting and
presented the exhibits.

Also present was Planning and Zoning Administrator, Scott Starrett and Zoning Coordinator,
Presley Cozort.
Review and Action
Mr. Huff moved to approve the Regular Meeting Minutes from April 12, 2021. Mr. Haes
seconded the motion. The motion passed by voice vote: George Cramer (aye), Thomas Holman
(aye), Howard Kitchen (aye), Devin Huff (aye), Randy Haes (aye), Dave Stewart (absent), Roger
Hoenes (absent), Doug Faubion (absent) and Randy Fogle (absent).
Concepts, Public Hearing & Final Vote
#21-03: Applicants John Birosh and Wanda Stage were present. A concept hearing was held and
the application was moved to the public hearing for the final vote. No one signed up to speak for
or against the application. Mr. Cramer moved to approve with the additional of outdoor storage
with fencing. Mr. Huff seconded the motion. The motion passed by voice vote: George Cramer
(aye), Thomas Holman (aye), Howard Kitchen (aye), Devin Huff (aye), Randy Haes (aye), Dave
Stewart (aye), Roger Hoenes (absent), Doug Faubion (absent) and Randy Fogle (absent).
#21-04: Applicant William Rollins was present. A concept hearing was held and the application
was moved to the public hearing for the final vote. Michael Tibbet was present to speak for the
application. Darren Anstead, Robert Sweitzer and Pan Porter were present to speak against the
application. Mr. Holman moved to deny the application based on local surroundings and the
general compatibility with adjacent properties. Along with it being a commercial business being
put in the middle of a residential neighborhood. Mr. Stewart seconded the motion. Mr. Cramer
started discussion on traffic possibly increasing in the neighborhood. The motion passed by voice
vote: George Cramer (aye), Thomas Holman (aye), Howard Kitchen (aye), Devin Huff (aye),
Randy Haes (aye), Dave Stewart (aye), Roger Hoenes (absent), Doug Faubion (absent) and
Randy Fogle (absent).

Mr. Haes moved to adjourn the meeting at 7:04 p.m. Mr. Stewart seconded the motion. The
motion passed by voice vote: George Cramer (aye), Thomas Holman (aye), Howard Kitchen
(aye), Devin Huff (aye), Randy Haes (aye), Dave Stewart (aye), Roger Hoenes (absent), Doug
Faubion (absent) and Randy Fogle (absent).
