Wednesday, July 28, 2021: After opening responses from the above listed companies today in public,
initial details were announced and documented by myself and Devin Huff, Taney County Road & Bridge
Administrator. A requested has been made, and approved, to deliver a formal recommendation for award
to the Taney County Commission on Monday, August 2, 2021.
Monday, August 2, 2021: After a thorough review, Berry Companies, Inc. dba Berry Tractor and
Equipment did not comply in Section 1 and therefore has been disqualified. A determination was made that
the lowest and best response should be awarded to G.W. Van Keppel Co., Kansas City, Kansas, as being
compliant with all bid requirements and specifications as requested.
We hereby ask for a motion vote to award the recommendation as outlined above.
Taney County Commission awarded G.W. Van Keppel Co., Kansas City, Kansas, as recommended for
the best and lowest bid. A subsequent Agreement will be forthcoming.
