FORMAL AGENDA
The County Commission met in the Commission Hearing Room with Mike Scofield (present),
Brandon Williams (present), and Sheila Wyatt (present).

CALL COUNTY COMMISSION MEETING TO ORDER
Presiding Commissioner Mike Scofield called the meeting to order at 9:03 a.m.
COMMISSION REMARKS

APPROVAL OF ACCOUNTS PAYABLE
Commissioner Wyatt moved to approve Checks #463428 through Checks #463436 and Checks
#463438 through Checks #463461, Warrants #7696 through Warrant #7701 and no Journal
Entry/Transfer. Commissioner Williams seconded the motion. The motion passed by vote:
Scofield (aye), Williams (aye), and Wyatt (aye).
Commissioner Wyatt left the meeting at 9:04 a.m.
Commissioner Williams moved to approve Check #463437. Presiding Commissioner Scofield
seconded the motion. The motion passed by vote: Scofield (aye), Williams (aye), and Wyatt
(absent).
Commissioner Wyatt entered the meeting at 9:04 a.m.
APPROVAL OF PREVIOUS MEETING MINUTES
Commissioner Williams moved to approve Regular Session Minutes for May 10th, 2021.
Commissioner Wyatt seconded the motion. The motion passed by vote: Scofield (aye),

COURT ORDERS
Wesley Shoemaker, Deputy Clerk, was present.
Commissioner Wyatt moved to approve abatement #206264 with the date of May 17, 2021.

HVAC SYSTEM REPLACEMENT BID RECOMMENDATION #202104-475
Nikki Lawrence, Purchasing Director & Legal Liaison, and Mike Mulnick, M. Graham Clark
Airport Manager, were present.
Commissioner Williams moved to award bid #202104-475 to Specialty Air Condition out of
Springfield, Missouri based on recommendation from Airport Board and Mike Mulnick, Airport
Manager. Commissioner Wyatt seconded the motion. The motion passed by vote: Scofield
(aye), Williams (aye), and Wyatt (aye).
NASPO VALUEPOINT DEFICIENCY QUOTE 3407 #21-046M – WIRING FIXES FOR
CONTROL VALVES – BACKFLOW PREVENTER
Scott Terpening, Building and Grounds, was present. Presiding Commissioner Scofield
referenced a letter from their attorney.
Commissioner Williams moved to approve NASPO Deficiency Quote 3407 as presented.
Commissioner Wyatt seconded the motion. The motion passed by vote: Scofield (aye),
Williams (aye), and Wyatt (aye).
WIRING FIXES FOR CONTROL VALVES
BACKFLOW PREVENTER
DISCUSSION AND APPOINTMENT OF AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVE FOR
THE AMERICAN RESCUE PLAN ACT.
Melissa Duckworth, Emergency Management Assistant, was present.
Commissioner Williams moved to appoint Melissa Duckworth as Authorized Representative for
the American Rescue Plan Act for Taney County Missouri. Commissioner Wyatt seconded the
motion. The motion passed by vote: Scofield (aye), Williams (aye), and Wyatt (aye).
U.S. DEPARTMENT OF THE TREASURY CORONAVIRUS LOCAL FISCAL
RECOVERY FUND AWARD TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
Melissa Duckworth, Emergency Management Assistant, was present. Presiding Commissioner
Scofield referenced a letter from their attorney.
Commissioner Williams moved to accept the award terms and conditions by and between U.S.
Department of Treasury and Taney County Missouri. Commissioner Wyatt seconded the motion.
The motion passed by vote: Scofield (aye), Williams (aye), and Wyatt (aye).
TANEY COUNTY SEWER SALES TAX RENEWAL ORDER
Brad Allbritton, Sewer District Administrator, and Jonas Arjes, Executive Director Taney
County Partnership, were present.
Commissioner Wyatt moved to approve the order as it was presented for the Taney County
Sewer Sales Tax Renewal to be put on the ballot on August 3, 2021. Commissioner Williams
seconded the motion. The motion passed by vote: Scofield (aye), Williams (aye), and Wyatt
(aye).
FILL DIRT AGREEMENT – KIMBERLY GILBERT
Devin Huff, Road & Bridge Administrator, was present.
Commissioner Williams moved to approve the Fill Dirt Agreement by and between Kimberly
Gilbert and Taney County. Commissioner Wyatt seconded the motion. The motion passed by
vote: Scofield (aye), Williams (aye), and Wyatt (aye).
