FORMAL AGENDA
The County Commission met in the Commission Hearing Room with Mike Scofield (present),
Brandon Williams (present), and Sheila Wyatt (present).

CALL COUNTY COMMISSION MEETING TO ORDER
Presiding Commissioner Mike Scofield called the meeting to order at 9:01 a.m.

APPROVAL OF ACCOUNTS PAYABLE
Commissioner Wyatt moved to approve Checks #462567 through Check #462649, Warrants
#7640 through #7644 and three Journal Entries/Transfers. Commissioner Williams seconded the
motion. The motion passed by vote: Scofield (aye), Williams (aye), and Wyatt (aye).
APPROVAL OF PREVIOUS MEETING MINUTES
Commissioner Williams moved to approve Regular Session Minutes and Executive Session
Minutes for March 1, 2021. Commissioner Wyatt seconded the motion. The motion passed by
vote: Scofield (aye), Williams (aye), and Wyatt (aye).
MONTHLY BUDGET REPORT
David Clark, County Auditor, presented Monthly Budget Report to the Commission.
PERSONAL PROPERTY REPORT FOR FEBRUARY 2021
Commissioner Wyatt moved to enter into record the Personal Property Abatements and Add-On
Report for February 2021. Commissioner Williams seconded the motion. The motion passed
by vote: Scofield (aye), Williams (aye), and Wyatt (aye).
UNIVERSITY OF MISSOURI EXTENSION UPDATE
Willa Williams, 4-H Community Engagement Specialist, updated the Commission on various
Extension programs.
BARNABAS FOUNDATION, INC. – CARES ACT PHASE 3
Melissa Duckworth, Emergency Management Assistant, was present. Presiding Commissioner
Scofield referenced a letter from their attorney.
Discussion ensued. No motion was made.
ALTERNATIVE HEALTH LABS, LLC – CARES ACT REQUEST
Melissa Duckworth, Emergency Management Assistant, was present. Presiding Commissioner
Scofield referenced a letter from their attorney.
Commissioner Williams moved to deny the CARES Act request for Alternative Health Labs,
LLC. Commissioner Wyatt seconded the motion. The motion passed by vote: Scofield (aye),
Williams (aye), and Wyatt (aye).
NOTICE OF RENEWAL FOR ANIMAL DISPOSAL SERVICES #21-016AC
Sherry Simpson, Animal Control Supervisor, was present. Presiding Commissioner Scofield
referenced a letter from their attorney.
Commissioner Williams moved to approve the Notice of Renewal by and between Taney County
and Friends of the Family Pet Memorial Gardens, Inc. Commissioner Wyatt seconded the
motion. The motion passed by vote: Scofield (aye), Williams (aye), and Wyatt (aye).

AGREEMENT FOR MODIFIED AGGREGATE QUICK SET #21-013RB
Devin Huff, Road & Bridge Administrator was present.
Commissioner Williams moved to table agreement for Modified Aggregate Quick Set to March
15, 2021. Commissioner Wyatt seconded the motion. The motion passed by vote: Scofield
(aye), Williams (aye), and Wyatt (aye).
TANEY COUNTY TIPPING SERVICES DISPOSAL AGREEMENT - #21-014RB
Devin Huff, Road & Bridge Administrator was present. Presiding Commissioner Scofield
referenced a letter from their attorney.
Commissioner Wyatt moved to approve the Taney County Tipping Services Disposal Agreement
between Republic Services of the Ozarks and Taney County. Commissioner Williams
seconded the motion. The motion passed by vote: Scofield (aye), Williams (aye), and Wyatt
(aye).
SPRING CLEAN-UP DISCUSSION
Devin Huff, Road & Bridge Administrator discussed the Taney County Spring Clean-Up set for
April 2nd, and April 3rd, 2021.
DISCUSSION OF PURPLE WAVE AND COUNTY INVENTORY
David Clark, County Auditor, and Devin Huff, Road & Bridge Administrator were present.
Discussion ensued.
DEVELOPMENTAL CONNECTION/SB40 BOARD RESIGNATION ACCEPTANCE
AND APPOINTMENT
Troy Rasmussen, Executive Director of the Developmental Connection, was present.
Commissioner Wyatt moved to accept the resignation of Cheri Coffelt from the SB40 Board.
Commissioner Williams seconded the motion. The motion passed by vote: Scofield (aye),
Williams (aye), and Wyatt (aye).
Commissioner Williams move to appoint Dave Janke to the SB40 Developmentally Disabled
Board to finish out the term left available by Cheri Coffelt. Commissioner Wyatt seconded the
motion. The motion passed by vote: Scofield (aye), Williams (aye), and Wyatt (aye).
