FEBRUARY 18TH, 2021 – 16th DAY OF
THE JANUARY ADJOURN TERM
FORMAL AGENDA
The County Commission met in the Commission Hearing Room with Mike Scofield (present),
Brandon Williams (via-teleconference), and Sheila Wyatt (present).

CALL COUNTY COMMISSION MEETING TO ORDER
Presiding Commissioner Mike Scofield called the meeting to order at 9:10 a.m.
COMMISSION REMARKS
None.
APPROVAL OF ACCOUNTS PAYABLE
Commissioner Wyatt moved to approve Checks #462369 through Check #462393, and Checks
#462395 through Check #462433, no Warrants, one Transfer and no Journal Entries – holding
Check #462394 until next week. Commissioner Williams seconded the motion. The motion
passed by vote: Scofield (aye), Williams (aye), and Wyatt (aye).
APPROVAL OF PAYROLL
Commissioner Wyatt moved to approve 20212000.ACH, MO 211001.ACH, MO 211002.ACH,
MO 212001.ACH and Checks #462434 through Check #462441 for payroll. Commissioner
Williams seconded the motion. The motion passed by vote: Scofield (aye), Williams (aye), and
Wyatt (aye).
APPROVAL OF PREVIOUS MEETING MINUTES
Commissioner Wyatt moved to approve Executive Session Minutes for February 8, 2021.
Commissioner Williams seconded the motion. The motion passed by vote: Scofield (aye),
Williams (aye), and Wyatt (aye).
Commissioner Wyatt moved to approve Executive Session Minutes for February 11, 2021.

Commissioner Wyatt moved to approve Regular Session Minutes for February 8, 2021 as
amended. Commissioner Williams seconded the motion. The motion passed by vote: Scofield

BID RECOMMENDATION ON OLD CHEESE PLANT BRIDGE JOB #4121
Devin Huff, Road & Bridge Administrator, and Anne Pierce, Great River Engineering Bridge
Engineer, were present.
Commissioner Wyatt moved to award the Bid on the Old Cheese Plant Bridge Replacement to
Viebrock Sales & Service, LLC in the amount of $346,219.17. Commissioner Williams
seconded the motion. The motion passed by vote: Scofield (aye), Williams (aye), and Wyatt
(aye).
AVIS LEASE AGREEMENT 2021 #20-141AIR
Mike Mulnik, M Graham Clark Airport Manager, was present. Presiding Commissioner
Scofield referenced a letter from their attorney.
Commissioner Wyatt moved to approve the Lease Agreement at the Airport between Bob’s
Rentals, Inc. dba AVIS and Taney County. Commissioner Williams seconded the motion. The
motion passed by vote: Scofield (aye), Williams (aye), and Wyatt (aye).
TANEY COUNTY HAZARD MITIGATION PLAN UPDATE - 2021-MEMORANDUM
OF AGREEMENT & PROFESSSIONAL PLANNING SERVICES #21-005CM
Presiding Commissioner Scofield referenced a letter from their attorney.
Commissioner Wyatt moved to approve the Taney County Hazard Mitigation Plan Update 2021
between Southwest Missouri Council of Governments (SMCOG) and Taney County.
Commissioner Williams seconded the motion. The motion passed by vote: Scofield (aye),
Williams (aye), and Wyatt (aye).
FEDERAL LAND ACCESS PROGRAM FOR THUNDER ROAD #21-003RB
Devin Huff, Road & Bridge Administrator, and Anne Pierce, Great River Engineering Bridge
Engineer, were present. Presiding Commissioner Scofield referenced a letter from their attorney.
Commissioner Williams moved to approve the Federal Land Access Program Grant labeled as
Thunder Road Contract. Commissioner Wyatt seconded the motion. The motion passed by vote:
Scofield (aye), Williams (aye), and Wyatt (aye).
CONTRACT AGREEMENT FOR ROUND MOUNTAIN PROJECT #21-006RB
Devin Huff, Road & Bridge Administrator, and Anne Pierce, Great River Engineering Bridge
Engineer, were present. Presiding Commissioner Scofield referenced a letter from their attorney.
Commissioner Wyatt moved to approve the Agreement for the Round Mountain Project between
Hartman and Co, Inc. and Taney County. Commissioner Williams seconded the motion. The
motion passed by vote: Scofield (aye), Williams (aye), and Wyatt (aye).
TANEY COUNTY COMMISSION RECORDS DISPOSAL LIST TO COUNTY CLERK
Presiding Commissioner Scofield read the list of items to be turned over to the County Clerk.
Commissioner Wyatt moved to approve the list as presented for Records Disposal given to the
County Clerk. Commissioner Williams seconded the motion. The motion passed by vote:
Scofield (aye), Williams (aye), and Wyatt (aye).
BOARD APPOINTMENT – PARK BOARD
Commissioner Wyatt moved to put off the Board Appointment until next week. Commissioner
Williams seconded the motion. The motion passed by vote: Scofield (aye), Williams (aye), and
Wyatt (aye).
COURT ORDERS
Wesley Shoemaker, Deputy Clerk, was present.
Commissioner Wyatt moved to approve Exhibit “A” dated February 18, 2021. Commissioner
Williams seconded the motion. The motion passed by vote: Scofield (aye), Williams (aye), and
