JANUARY 25th, 2021 – 10th DAY OF
THE JANUARY ADJOURN TERM
FORMAL AGENDA
The County Commission met in the Commission Hearing Room with Mike Scofield (present),
Brandon Williams (present), and Sheila Wyatt (present).
PUBLIC COMMENT
None.
CALL COUNTY COMMISSION MEETING TO ORDER
Presiding Commissioner Mike Scofield called the meeting to order at 9:06 a.m.
COMMISSION REMARKS
None.
APPROVAL OF ACCOUNTS PAYABLE
Commissioner Wyatt moved to approve Checks #462161 through Checks #462193, Warrants
#7167 and one Journal Entries or Transfers. Commissioner Williams seconded the motion. The
motion passed by vote: Scofield (aye), Williams (aye), and Wyatt (aye).
APPROVAL OF PREVIOUS MEETING MINUTES
Commissioner Wyatt moved to approve Regular Session Minutes for January 19th, 2021.
Commissioner Williams seconded the motion. The motion passed by vote: Scofield (aye),
Williams (aye), and Wyatt (aye).
RECYCLING SERVICE AGREEMENT 21-001RB
Scott Starrett, Planning & Zoning Administrator, Devin Huff, Road & Bridge Administrator, and
Jim Von Behren, President of Greenway Recycling Inc. out of Fordland, Missouri, were present.
Presiding Commissioner Scofield referenced a letter from their attorney.
Commissioner Wyatt moved to approve the Agreement for Recycling Service between Taney
County and Greenway Recycling Inc. Commissioner Williams seconded the motion. The
motion passed by vote: Scofield (aye), Williams (aye), and Wyatt (aye).
ADMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES 21-001RB
Travis Heier, HDR Engineering, and Devin Huff, Road & Bridge were present. Presiding
Commissioner Scofield referenced a letter from their attorney.
Commissioner Williams moved to approve the Amendment to the Agreement for Engineering
Services by and between HDR Engineering and Taney County. Commissioner Wyatt seconded
the motion. The motion passed by vote: Scofield (aye), Williams (aye), and Wyatt (aye).
SHERIFF DISCUSSION
Brad Daniels, Sheriff, was present.
Discussion Ensued.
BOARD DISCUSSION
Commissioner Wyatt moved to accept the Resignation Letter from Rhonda Dorsey from Taney
County Park Board. Commissioner Williams seconded the motion. The motion passed by vote:
Scofield (aye), Williams (aye), and Wyatt (aye).
PURCHASE CARD POLICY
Commissioner Williams moved to adopt the Revised Taney County Purchasing Card Policy as
presented. Commissioner Wyatt seconded the motion. The motion passed by vote: Scofield
(aye), Williams (aye), and Wyatt (aye).
COURT ORDERS
Wesley Shoemaker, Deputy Clerk, was present.
Commissioner Williams moved to approve Exhibit “A” dated January 25, 2021. Commissioner
Wyatt seconded the motion. The motion passed by vote: Scofield (aye), Williams (aye), and
Wyatt (aye).

Present: Presiding Commissioner Scofield, Commissioner Williams and Commissioner Wyatt.
Also present: Lesley Wallace, Commissions Assistant, and Kim Lovelace, Deputy Clerk.
The commission met with their staff to review the day’s business and go over the agenda
requests.
ADJOURNMENT:
Commissioner Williams moved to adjourn. Commissioner Wyatt seconded the motion. The
motion passed by vote: Scofield (aye), Williams (aye), and Wyatt (aye).
