JANUARY 19th, 2021 – 8th DAY OF
THE JANUARY ADJOURN TERM
FORMAL AGENDA
The County Commission met in the Commission Hearing Room with Mike Scofield (present),
Brandon Williams (present), and Sheila Wyatt (present).

None.
CALL COUNTY COMMISSION MEETING TO ORDER
Presiding Commissioner Mike Scofield called the meeting to order at 9:04 a.m.
COMMISSION REMARKS
None.
APPROVAL OF ACCOUNTS PAYABLE
Commissioner Williams moved to approve Checks #462057 through Checks #462083 and
Checks #462085 through Checks #462137, Warrants #7591 through #7612 and four Journal
Entries or Transfers. Commissioner Wyatt seconded the motion. The motion passed by vote:
Scofield (aye), Williams (aye), and Wyatt (aye).
Commissioner Wyatt left the meeting at 9:05 a.m.
Commissioner Williams moved to approve Check #462084. Presiding Commissioner Scofield
seconded the motion. The motion passed by vote: Scofield (aye), Williams (aye), and Wyatt
(absent).
Commissioner Wyatt entered the meeting at 9:05 a.m.
APPROVAL OF PAYROLL
Commissioner Wyatt moved to approve payroll. Commissioner Williams seconded the motion.
The motion passed by vote: Scofield (aye), Williams (aye), and Wyatt (aye).
APPROVAL OF PREVIOUS MEETING MINUTES
Commissioner Wyatt moved to approve Regular Session Minutes for January 11th, 2021.
Commissioner Williams seconded the motion. The motion passed by vote: Scofield (aye),
Williams (aye), and Wyatt (aye).
Commissioner Wyatt moved to approve Regular Session Minutes for January 12th, 2021.
Commissioner Williams seconded the motion. The motion passed by vote: Scofield (aye),
Williams (aye), and Wyatt (aye).
Commissioner Williams moved to approve the Executive Minutes for January 11th, 2021.
Commissioner Wyatt seconded the motion. The motion passed by vote: Scofield (aye),
Williams (aye), and Wyatt (aye).
Commissioner Wyatt moved to approve the Executive Minutes for January 14th, 2021.
Commissioner Williams seconded the motion. The motion passed by vote: Scofield (aye),
Williams (aye), and Wyatt (aye).
ENGAGEMENT LETTER FOR AUDITING SERVICE 2020 #20-140CM
Presiding Commissioner Scofield referenced a letter from their attorney.
Commissioner Williams moved to approve the Engagement Letter and the Agreement by and
between Taney County and KPM for the year ending December 31, 2020 Audit. Commissioner
Wyatt seconded the motion with discussion. The motion passed by vote: Scofield (aye),
Williams (aye), and Wyatt (aye).
VACATION OF LOST RIDGE SUBDIVISION #20-132RB
Devin Huff, Road & Bridge Administrator, and David Herd, Builder, were present. Presiding
Commissioner Scofield referenced a letter from White River Valley Electric Co-op.
Commissioner Williams moved to approve Vacation of Lost Ridge and approve the Order to
Vacate a Portion of Lost Ridge a Minor Subdivision as presented. Commissioner Wyatt
seconded the motion. The motion passed by vote: Scofield (aye), Williams (aye), and Wyatt
(aye).
2021 DISPOSITION LETTER
Stephanie Spencer, Deputy Clerk, was present.
Commissioner Williams moved to enter into the record the 2021 Records Disposition Letter as
presented by the County Clerk’s Office. Commissioner Wyatt seconded the motion. The motion
passed by vote: Scofield (aye), Williams (aye), and Wyatt (aye).
COURT ORDERS
Stephanie Spencer, Deputy Clerk, was present.
Commissioner Williams moved to approve Exhibit “A” dated January 19, 2021. Commissioner
Wyatt seconded the motion. The motion passed by vote: Scofield (aye), Williams (aye), and
Wyatt (aye).

Devin Huff, Road & Bridge Administrator, was present.
Discussion ensued.

The commission met with their staff to review the day’s business and go over the agenda
requests.
