OCTOBER 26th, 2020 – 6th DAY OF
THE OCTOBER ADJOURN TERM
FORMAL AGENDA
The County Commission met in the Commission Hearing Room with Mike Scofield (present),
Brandon Williams (present), and Sheila Wyatt (present).
PUBLIC COMMENT
None.
CALL COUNTY COMMISSION MEETING TO ORDER
Presiding Commissioner Mike Scofield called the meeting to order at 9:01 a.m.
COMMISSION REMARKS
Commissioner Wyatt, on behalf of the Commission, wished Road & Bridge Administrator,
Devin Huff a Happy Birthday.
VACATION OF A PORTION OF POVERTY GULCH ROAD #20-097RB
Presiding Commissioner Scofield referenced a letter from their attorney.
The petitioning party withdrew their request for a petition.
APPROVAL OF ACCOUNTS PAYABLE
Commissioner Wyatt moved to approve Checks #460994 through Check #461067, Warrants
#7501 and #7502 and one Transfer, and no Journal Entries. Commissioner Williams seconded
the motion. The motion passed by vote: Scofield (aye), Williams (aye), and Wyatt (aye).
APPROVAL OF PREVIOUS MEETING MINUTES
Commissioner Williams moved to approve the Regular Session Minutes for October 19th, 2020
Commissioner Wyatt seconded the motion. The motion passed by vote: Scofield (aye),
Williams (aye), and Wyatt (aye).
APPROVAL OF ACCOUNTS PAYROLL
Commissioner Williams moved to approve payroll. Commissioner Wyatt seconded the motion.
The motion passed by vote: Scofield (aye), Williams (aye), and Wyatt (aye).
TANEY COUNTY COLLECTOR RECORDS DISPOSAL LIST
Commissioner Williams moved to table Taney County Collector Records Disposal List until
November 2nd. Commissioner Wyatt seconded the motion. The motion passed by vote:
Scofield (aye), Williams (aye), and Wyatt (aye).
ARBITRAGE COMPUTATION SERVICES PROPOSAL #20-113CM
Presiding Commissioner Scofield referenced a letter from their attorney.
Commissioner Wyatt moved that Gilmore & Bell act to serve as Rebate Analyst for the Tax
Exempt Refunding Certificate of Participation for the Series 2015A for Taney County and for
Presiding Commissioner Scofield to sign the Agreement. Commissioner Williams seconded the
motion with discussion. The motion passed by vote: Scofield (aye), Williams (aye), and Wyatt
(aye).
2021 RENEWAL AUTHORIZATION – COX HEALTH
Commissioner Williams moved to approve the 2021 Renewal Authorization for Health Insurance
through Cox Health Systems. Commissioner Wyatt seconded the motion. The motion passed by
vote: Scofield (aye), Williams (aye), and Wyatt (aye).
FILL DIRT AGREEMENT – JAY METZGER
Devin Huff, Road & Bridge Administrator, was present.
Commissioner Williams moved to approve the Fill Dirt Agreement by and between Taney
County and Jay Metzger. Commissioner Wyatt seconded the motion. The motion passed by
vote: Scofield (aye), Williams (aye), and Wyatt (aye).
FILL DIRT AGREEMENT – SCOTT COFFELT
Devin Huff, Road & Bridge Administrator, was present.
Commissioner Williams moved to approve the Fill Dirt Agreement by and between Scott Coffelt
and Taney County. Commissioner Wyatt seconded the motion. The motion passed by vote:
Scofield (aye), Williams (aye), and Wyatt (aye).
ANNUAL CERF CONTRIBUTION
Commissioner Williams moved to approve the Annual Contribution Form with the selection of –
The County’s current election will remain in effect during 2021. Commissioner Wyatt seconded
the motion. The motion passed by vote: Scofield (aye), Williams (aye), and Wyatt (aye).

Present: Presiding Commissioner Scofield, Commissioner Williams and Commissioner Wyatt.
Also present: Devin Huff, Road & Bridge Administrator, Jason Sivils, Great River Engineering,
and Stephanie Spencer, Deputy Clerk were present.
Discussion Ensued.

RECONVENE: 1:07 A.M.
DAILY STAFF REVIEW AND AGENDA REQUESTS

Present: Presiding Commissioner Scofield, Commissioner Williams and Commissioner Wyatt.
Also present: Shanna Tilley, Administrative Assistant, and Stephanie Spencer, Deputy Clerk.
The commission met with their staff to review the day’s business and go over the agenda
requests.

Commissioner Williams moved to adjourn. Commissioner Wyatt seconded the motion. The
motion passed by vote: Scofield (aye), Williams (aye), and Wyatt (aye).
