JANUARY 14th, 2020 – 4th DAY OF
THE JANUARY ADJOURN TERM
FORMAL AGENDA
The County Commission met in the Commission Conference Room with Presiding
Commissioner Scofield (present), Commissioner Williams (present), and Commissioner Wyatt
(present).
CALL COUNTY COMMISSION MEETING TO ORDER
Presiding Commissioner Mike Scofield called the meeting to order at 1:32 p.m.
Also present: David Clark, Auditor, Melanie Smith, Treasurer, Melinda Burkhart, Legal
Support, Jimmie Russell, Sheriff, Bart Owen, Chief Deputy Juvenile Officer, Darlene Rea, Chief
Juvenile Officer, Joanna Jasper, Auditing Specialist, and Kim Lovelace, Deputy Clerk.
Discussion ensued about law enforcement tax and renewal.
Melinda Brown left meeting at 1:40 p.m.
Melinda Brown entered meeting at 1:41 p.m.
Shanna Tilley, Administrative Assistant, entered and left the meeting at 1:43 p.m.
William Duston, Prosecuting Attorney, entered the meeting at 1:50 p.m.
Chuck Pennel, Assessor, entered the meeting at 1:52 p.m.
Chuck Pennel, left the meeting at 2:30 p.m.
Mike Scofield left and entered the meeting at 3:03 p.m.
Sheila Wyatt left and entered the meeting at 3:07 p.m.
William Duston, Jimmie Russell, Melinda Burkhart, Melanie Smith, Bart Owen, Joanna Jasper,
and Jimmie Russell left at 3:20 p.m.
Chuck Pennel entered the meeting at 3:22 p.m.
Joanna Jasper left the meeting at 3:25 p.m.
Chuck Pennel and David Clark left the meeting at 3:26 p.m.
Darlene Rea left the meeting at 3:28 p.m.
ADJOURNMENT
Commissioner Williams moved to adjourn. Commissioner Wyatt seconded the motion. The
motion passed by vote: Scofield (aye), Williams (aye), and Wyatt (aye).

3:57 P.M.
