COMMISSION MINUTES
OCTOBER 21st, 2019 – 4th DAY OF
THE OCTOBER ADJOURN TERM
Commissioner Williams sworn in as temporary Presiding Commissioner.
FORMAL AGENDA
The County Commission met in the Commission Hearing Room with Mike Scofield (absent),
Brandon Williams (present), and Sheila Wyatt (present).

CALL COUNTY COMMISSION MEETING TO ORDER
Temporary Presiding Commissioner Brandon Williams called the meeting to order at 9:02 a.m.
COMMISSION REMARKS
None
APPROVE ACCOUNTS PAYABLE
Commissioner Wyatt moved to approve Checks #456669 through Checks #456708 and Warrant
#7294 through Warrant #7295 and six Journal Entries. Temporary Presiding Commissioner
Williams seconded the motion. The motion passed by vote: Scofield (absent), Williams (aye) and
Wyatt (aye).
APPROVAL OF PREVIOUS MEETING MINUTES
Commissioner Wyatt moved to table Regular Session Minutes from October 15, 2019.
Temporary Presiding Commissioner Williams seconded the motion. The motion passed by vote:
Scofield (absent), Williams (aye) and Wyatt (aye).
COURT ORDERS
Chuck Pennel, Assessor, Donna Neeley, County Clerk, and Wesley Shoemaker, Chief Deputy
Clerk, came before the Commission to present Court Orders.
Discussion ensued.
Discussion tabled to later time.
TANEYVILLE REQUEST FOR EMERGENCY FUNDS
John Soutee, Environmental Services Project Coordinator, Chris Robertson, Contractor Operator
for Village of Taneyville and Administrator for City of Forsyth, and Gary Baker, Chairman
Board of Trustees of Taneyville, were present.
Commissioner Wyatt moved to appropriate Emergency Funds of $30,000 for Village of
Taneyville. Temporary Presiding Commissioner Williams seconded the motion. The motion
passed by vote: Scofield (absent), Williams (aye) and Wyatt (aye).

Present: Temporary Presiding Commissioner Williams, and Commissioner Wyatt.
Also present: Shanna Tilley, Administrative Assistant, Wesley Shoemaker, Chief Deputy Clerk,
were present for the meeting.
The Commission met with their staff to review the day’s business and go over agenda requests.

Commissioner Wyatt moved to adjourn. Temporary Presiding Commissioner Williams
seconded the motion. The motion passed by vote: Scofield (absent), Williams (aye), and Wyatt
(aye).
