OCTOBER 7TH, 2019 –1ST DAY OF
THE OCTOBER ADJOURN TERM
FORMAL AGENDA
The County Commission met in the Commission Hearing Room with Mike Scofield (present),
Brandon Williams (present), and Sheila Wyatt (present).

CALL COUNTY COMMISSION MEETING TO ORDER
Presiding Commissioner Scofield called the meeting to order at 9:03 a.m.
COMMISSION REMARKS
None
CENTURY FARM PRESENTATION
Willa Williams, Community Engagement Specialist, presented Jimmie and Della Russell with a
Century Farm Award for their farm which has been owned by their family since 1919.
ROAD VACATES
Presiding Commissioner Scofield, referenced a letter from their attorney Travis Elliott.
Travis Elliot, Attorney for the Commission, and Devin Huff, Road and Bridge Administrator,
were present.
Commissioner Williams moved to approve the Order for vacation of a portion of Coon Creek
Road File #19-040RB. Commissioner Wyatt second for discussion. Commissioner Wyatt
seconded the motion. The motion passed by vote: Scofield (aye), Williams (aye) and Wyatt
(aye).
APPROVE ACCOUNTS PAYABLE
Commissioner Williams moved to approve Checks #456485 through Checks #456558, Warrants
#7283 though #7289, and no Journal Entries or Transfers. Commissioner Wyatt seconded the
motion. The motion passed by vote: Scofield (aye), Williams (aye) and Wyatt (aye).
APPROVAL OF PREVIOUS MEETING MINUTES
Commissioner Williams moved to approve Regular Session Minutes from September 30, 2019
with corrections. Commissioner Wyatt seconded the motion. The motion passed by vote:
Scofield (aye), Williams (aye) and Wyatt (aye).
Commissioner Williams moved to approve Executive Session Minutes from September 30,
2019. Commissioner Wyatt seconded the motion. The motion passed by vote: Scofield (aye),
Williams (aye) and Wyatt (aye).
NOTICE OF RENEWAL – AUTO BODY REPAIR SERVICES #19-115RB
JIM’S AUTO BODY, INC. (PRIMARY)
Commissioner Williams moved to approve the Notice of Renewal by and between Jim’s Auto
Body Inc. and Taney County labeled as Primary. Commissioner Wyatt seconded the motion. The
motion passed by vote: Scofield (aye), Williams (aye) and Wyatt (aye).
KIVETT’S BODY SHOP, LLC (SECONDARY)
Commissioner Williams moved to approve the Notice of Renewal by and between Kivett’s Body
Shop and Taney County labeled as Secondary. Commissioner Wyatt seconded the motion. The
motion passed by vote: Scofield (aye), Williams (aye) and Wyatt (aye).
PERSONAL PROPERTY SEPTEMBER REPORT
Commissioner Wyatt moved to approve to add into the record the Personal Property September
2019 Report. Commissioner Williams seconded the motion. The motion passed by vote:
Scofield (aye), Williams (aye) and Wyatt (aye).
COURT ORDERS
Chuck Pennel, Assessor, and Wesley Shoemaker, Chief Deputy Clerk, were present.
Commissioner Williams moved to approve Exhibit “A” (#300306) dated October 7, 2019.
Commissioner Wyatt seconded the motion. The motion passed by vote: Scofield (aye), Williams
(aye) and Wyatt (aye).

Present: Presiding Commissioner Scofield, Commissioner Williams and Commissioner Wyatt.
Also present: David Clark, Auditor, Scott Starrett, Planning and Zoning Administrator, Presley
Cozort, Permit Technician & Zoning Coordinator, and Kim Lovelace, Deputy Clerk.
Discussion ensued.
Shanna Tilley, Administrative Assistant, entered the meeting and then left the meeting 9:46 a.m.
David Clark, Auditor, left the meeting at 10:25 a.m.
Commissioner Williams, left the meeting at 10:55 a.m.
Commissioner Williams, entered the meeting at 10:57 a.m.
Scott Starrett and Presley Cozort left the meeting at 11:01 a.m.
DAILY STAFF REVIEW & AGENDA REQUESTS

Present: Presiding Commissioner Scofield, Commissioner Williams, and Commissioner Wyatt.
Also present: Shanna Tilley, Administrative Assistant, and Kim Lovelace, Deputy Clark, were
present for the meeting.
The Commission met with their staff to review the day’s business and go over agenda requests.

Commissioner Williams moved to adjourn. Commissioner Wyatt seconded the motion. The
motion passed by vote: Scofield (aye), Williams (aye), and Wyatt (aye).
