Prayer and Pledge

CALL COMMISSION MEETING TO ORDER
Presiding Commissioner Mike Scofield called the Commission meeting to order at 9:06 a.m.

FORMAL AGENDA
The County Commission met in the Commission Hearing Room with Mike Scofield (present),
Brandon Williams (present), and Sheila Wyatt (present).

APPROVAL OF ACCOUNTS PAYABLE
Commissioner Wyatt moved to approve checks #453209-453293, Warrants #7127 – 7133 and
three Journal Entries. Commissioner Williams seconded the motion for discussion.
Commissioner Williams rescinded his second. Commissioner Wyatt rescinded her motion.

Commissioner Williams moved to approve payroll. Commissioner Wyatt seconded the motion.

APPROVAL OF PREVIOUS MEETING MINUTES
Commissioner Wyatt moved to approve regular meeting minutes for December 28, 2018 and
January 14, 2019 as presented. Commissioner Williams seconded the motion for discussion. The
motion passed by vote: Scofield (aye), Williams (aye) and Wyatt (aye).

PERSONNEL POLICY UPDATE REVISION #2019-01
Ruth Denham, Human Resources Director presented the updated Introduction Page to the
Personnel Policy to reflect the new elected officials and current department heads.
Commissioner Wyatt moved to approve and enter into the record The Personnel Policy Update
Revision #2019-01. Commissioner Williams seconded the motion. The motion passed by vote:
Scofield (aye), Williams (aye) and Wyatt (aye).

COURT ORDERS
Wesley Shoemaker, Chief Deputy Clerk and Chuck Pennel, Assessor presented Court Orders to
the Commission.

Commissioner Williams moved to approve Exhibit A dated January 22, 2019 (Personal Property
Paid Abatements #300280-300281). Commissioner Wyatt seconded the motion. The motion
passed by vote: Scofield (aye), Williams (aye) and Wyatt (aye).

#204328-204329). Commissioner Williams seconded the motion. The motion passed by vote:

ROAD & BRIDGE EQUIPMENT DISCUSSION
Devin Huff, Road & Bridge Administrator presented purchase needs for his department.

Commissioner Williams moved to allow Devin Huff, Road & Bridge Administrator for Taney
County to purchase six TC600 Radar Speed signs via quote as presented using the City of
Manchester’s current bid. Commissioner Wyatt seconded the motion. The motion passed by
vote: Scofield (aye), Williams (aye) and Wyatt (aye).

Commissioner Wyatt moved to approve Devin Huff, Road & Bridge Administrator to purchase a
2019 Chevrolet Silverado 4x4 Crew Cab from Don Brown Chevrolet under the MODOT
contract #IFB605C019000723. Commissioner Williams seconded the motion. The motion
passed by vote: Scofield (aye), Williams (aye) and Wyatt (aye).

Commissioner Williams moved to approve Devin Huff, Taney County Road & Bridge
Administrator to purchase a Caterpillar Excavator from Fabick Cat per SourceWell contract
#032515. Commissioner Wyatt seconded the motion. The motion passed by vote: Scofield (aye),
Williams (aye) and Wyatt (aye).

Commissioner Williams moved to approve Devin Huff, Road & Bridge Administrator to
purchase a Skid Steer as presented per Source Well contract #032515. Commissioner Wyatt
seconded the motion. The motion passed by vote: Scofield (aye), Williams (aye) and Wyatt
(aye).

ROAD & BRIDGE ROUNDTABLE DISCUSSION
(Taney County Commission Conference Room)
Present: Presiding Commissioner Scofield, Commissioner Williams and Commissioner Wyatt.
Also present was Devin Huff, Road and Bridge Administrator, Denzil Brown, Assistant Road
and Bridge Administrator, Spencer Jones, Great River Principal/Engineer, Tim Church, Branson
Tri-Lakes News, and Stephanie Spencer, Deputy Clerk.

Discussion ensued.

Devin Huff, Denzil Brown, Spencer Jones, and Tim Church left at 10:33 a.m.

Shanna Tilley, Administrative Assistant entered the meeting at 10:33 a.m.

DAILY STAFF REVIEW AND AGENDA REQUESTS
The Commission met with their staff to review the day’s business and go over agenda requests.

ADJOURNMENT
Commissioner Williams moved to adjourn. Commissioner Wyatt seconded the motion. The
motion passed by vote: Scofield (aye), Williams (aye), and Wyatt (aye).
