CALL COMMISSION MEETING TO ORDER
Presiding Commissioner Mike Scofield called the Commission meeting to order at 9:01 a.m.
FORMAL AGENDA
The County Commission met in the Commission Hearing Room with Mike Scofield (present),
Brandon Williams (present), and Sheila Wyatt (present).
ROAD VACATIONS
Devin Huff, Road and Bridge Administrator, and Travis Elliott, Commission Attorney present.
CEDAR VALLEY ROAD
Attorney Harry Styron present.
Commissioner Wyatt moved to approve petition to vacate Cedar Valley Road. Commissioner
Williams seconded the motion. The motion passed by vote: Scofield (aye), Williams (aye) and
Wyatt (aye).
Vacation of Cedar Valley Road tabled until Mr. Styron contacts the Commission’s office with
further information.
GRIST MILL ROAD & FISHERS SPRING ROAD
Attorney Karl Finkenbinder present.
Discussion ensued.
Commissioner Williams moved to approve petition to vacate Mill Creek Road Phase II, Grist
Mill Road and Fisher Spring Road as presented in file #18-134CM. Commissioner Wyatt
seconded for discussion. The motion passed by vote: Scofield (aye), Williams (aye) and Wyatt
(aye).
SHOCKLEY ROAD
Attorney Mike Bridges present. First hearing per statute -RSMo 71.270.
Discussion ensued.
UNDEVELOPED PLATTED ROAD EASEMENT MORNING SONG
Attorney Mike Merrell present.
Discussion ensued.
Commissioner Williams moved to approve the order of Undeveloped Road Easement of
Morning Song Lane. Commissioner Wyatt seconded the motion. The motion passed by vote:
Scofield (aye), Williams (aye) and Wyatt (aye).
APPROVAL OF ACCOUNTS PAYABLE
Commissioner Wyatt moved to approve checks #453060-453097. Commissioner Williams
seconded the motion. The motion passed by vote: Scofield (aye), Williams (aye) and Wyatt
(aye).
APPROVAL OF PAYROLL
Commissioner Williams moved to approve payroll. Commissioner Wyatt seconded the motion.

APPROVAL OF PREVIOUS MEETING MINUTES
Commissioner Williams moved to approve regular session minutes dated December 31, 2018
with corrections. Commissioner Wyatt seconded the motion. The motion passed by vote:
Scofield (aye), Williams (aye) and Wyatt (aye).
BOARD OF EQUALIZATION APPOINTMENT
Commissioner Wyatt moved to approve Greg Baker to the Board of Equalization (BOE) to serve
from January 7, 2019 through December 31, 2021. Commissioner Williams seconded the
motion. The motion passed by vote: Scofield (aye), Williams (aye) and Wyatt (aye).
COURT ORDERS
Wesley Shoemaker, Chief Deputy Clerk and Chuck Pennel, Assessor presented Court Orders to
the Commission.
Commissioner Williams moved to approve Exhibit A dated of January 7, 2019 (Personal
Property Paid Abatements #300268-300273). Commissioner Wyatt seconded the motion. The
motion passed by vote: Scofield (aye), Williams (aye) and Wyatt (aye).

Shanna Tilley asked if the 2019 budget needed to be put back on the agenda.
Travis Elliott, Commission Counsel entered at 3:25 p.m.
Travis Elliott stated there did not have to be a meeting about the 2019 budget.
Travis Elliott left the meeting at 3:39 p.m.
