COMMISSION MINUTES
NOVEMBER 29th, 2018 14th DAY OF
THE OCTOBER ADJOURN TERM

RECONVENED
Presiding Commissioner Scofield called the Commission meeting back to order at 1:43pm in the
Commission Conference Room with Mike Scofield (present), Brandon Williams (absent) and
Sheila Wyatt (present).

Also present was Rick Findley, Auditor, and David Clark, Auditor Elect, and Donna Neeley,
County Clerk.

BUDGET DISCUSSIONS
The Commission reviewed the proposed Revenues for 2019 and the Commission agreed upon
$14,019,002.78.

The 101 Commission Account was reviewed next and the Commission agreed upon $240,904.74
noting that payroll changes may be reviewed in the future.

Account 102 Clerk Account was next reviewed and the Commission agreed upon $183,173.96
also noting that payroll changes may be reviewed in the future.

The Commission reviewed the 103 Elections account and decided to hold off on any decisions
due to the possibility of running an election.

The Commission agreed to set the 104 Buildings and Grounds account at $723,150.35 noting
that payroll changes may be reviewed in the future.

105 Benefits Account was reviewed next and the Commission decided that they would come
back to this Account at a later date after determining impact of any raises that may be given.

Account 106, Treasurer, was approved at $120,714.24 noting that payroll changes may be
reviewed.

Collectors Account 107 was reviewed and the Commission approved $267,769.96 but noted that
they would review payroll changes later.

Recorders Account 108 was reviewed and the Commission approved $276,260.56 noting that
payroll changes may be reviewed in the future.

Account 109, Court Recorder, was approved at $7,000.
Court Administration Account 111 was set at 40,500.

Presiding Circuit Judge Account 112 was agreed upon at $170,500.

Public Administrator Account 113 and the Commissions Other Account 114 were reviewed and
the Commission determined that they would come back to these accounts in the future.

Account 115, County Auditor was set at $107,520.96 noting that they may review payroll
changes in the future.

The Commission decided to hold the 117 Sheriff’s budget for future discussions. They approved
the Sheriff’s Jail Account at $1,630,534 noting that they may review payroll changes in the
future.

Commissioner Sheila Wyatt moved to adjourn the meeting. Presiding Commissioner Mike
Scofield seconded the motion. Motion passed by vote: Scofield (aye), Williams (absent) and
Wyatt (aye).
