Wednesday, March 17, 2021: The responses were opened, in public, for the above listed RFB,
with the assistance of Andy Adams, Deputy Assessor, in the absence of the Assessor, in the
Commission Hearing Room. After opening responses received, a decision was made to allow
time for a thorough review of said information by the Assessor.
Thursday, March 18, 2021: A formal agenda request to make an award recommendation on
Monday, March 22, 2021 to the Taney County Commission has been requested and approved.
Monday, March 22, 2021: Due to the disqualification of Edward J. Rice Co., Inc. and Tri-Lakes
Newspapers, Inc., for not complying with requirements within the bid document, the number of
qualified responses has been brought down to one (1) remaining. We recommend the award for
this bid go to Diversified Companies, LLC, Chattanooga, Tn, as the lowest bidder.
The Taney County Commission reviewed the information and made a motion to award
Diversified Companies, LLC.
