TANEY COUNTY BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT
WEDNESDAY December 16, 2020, 6:00 P.M.
COUNTY COMMISSION HEARING ROOM
TANEY COUNTY COURT HOUSE
Call to Order
The Board of Adjustment held a meeting on December 16, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. located at the
Taney County Courthouse in the County Commission Hearing Room at 132 David Street,
Forsyth, Missouri. Chairman Trent Edwards called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. and swore
in everyone who planned on speaking during the meeting. Scott Starrett established a quorum
and an explanation of public hearing procedures, presentation of exhibits and governing statutes.

Also present was Planning and Zoning Administrator, Scott Starrett and Zoning Coordinator,
Presley Cozort.
Review and Action
Mr. Roebuck moved to approve the Regular Meeting Minutes from November 18, 2020. Mr.
Caudill seconded the motion. The motion passed by voice vote: Trent Edwards (aye), David
Herd (aye), Rick Caudill (aye), Cory Roebuck (aye) and Rick Persinger (abstain).
Public Hearings
#20-20V: Applicant Ronald Koch was present. No one signed up to speak for or against the
application. Mr. Caudill moved to approve variance as presented Mr. Roebuck seconded the
motion. The motion passed by voice vote: Trent Edwards (aye), David Herd (aye), Rick Caudill
(aye), Cory Roebuck (aye) and Rick Persinger (aye).
#20-21V: Representative Eddie Wolfe was present for 7M Holdings LLC. Jim Thompson was
present to speak for the application. Paul Owens was present to speak against the application.
Mr. Roebuck moved to approve variance #20-22V. Mr. Roebuck moved to amend his motion to
variance #20-21V. Mr. Caudill seconded the motion. The motion passed by voice vote: Trent
Edwards (aye), David Herd (aye), Rick Caudill (aye), Cory Roebuck (aye) and Rick Persinger
(aye).

#20-04A: POSTPONED
#20-05A: Representative Karl Finkenbinder, Mike Stalzer and property owner, Cameron
Theissen were present for Lifestyle Contractors, LLC.
Recess at 7:02 p.m. for medical emergency.
Resume: 7:35 p.m.
Jim Webb, Jack Coe, Brenda Coe, Chris Wright and Rex Burrous were present to speak against
the application. Mr. Roebuck moved to approve the appeal with the added item to the Decision
of Record of moving the boat parking entrance north per the revised site plan labeled Exhibit A.
Mr. Herd seconded the motion. The motion passed by voice vote: Trent Edwards (aye), David
Herd (aye), Rick Caudill (aye), Cory Roebuck (aye) and Rick Persinger (aye).
#20-06A: Representative Karl Finkenbinder, Steve Redford and Mike Stalzer were present for
MRG Group. Michael Marriott, Patrick Haygood and Don Ingrum were present to speak against
the application. Mr. Roebuck moved to deny the application agreeing with the Planning
Commission’s decision of the ingress/egress issues on Dale Avenue. Mr. Caudill seconded the
motion. The motion passed by voice vote: Trent Edwards (nay), David Herd (nay), Rick Caudill
(aye), Cory Roebuck (aye) and Rick Persinger (aye).

Mr. Herd moved to adjourn the meeting at 9:02 p.m. Mr. Caudill seconded the motion. The
motion passed by voice vote: Trent Edwards (aye), David Herd (aye), Rick Caudill (aye), Cory
Roebuck (aye) and Rick Persinger (aye).
