Interact withh the public regarding movving violation ns, domestic i ssues, crimess committed, & citizen con
ncerns
Investigate crimes,
c identiify suspects, & correspond d with victimss
Serve legal documents
d
Participate in court hearings by provid ding security measures
m andd/or oral testtimony
Prepare repo orts, memos,, and correspo ondence whicch are both inntra & interdeepartmental in nature
Refer individ
duals to the proper
p agencies & provide other types oof related guiidance
Initiate inquiries concerning possible law violationss of adults or juveniles
Obtain, pressent, verify, & analyze facttual informatiion and otherr evidence
Make arrestts if probable cause is dete ermined
Take suspects into custod dy & inform suspect

eir civil rights
Seize and/orr prepare pro operty for safeekeeping
Operate Cou unty vehicles in a safe man nner; in comppliance with aall Missouri laaws & regulations
Assist with motor

High Schooll Diploma or GED preferreed
Seven-hundrred (700) hou

Twenty-one (21) years off age
Maintain Miissouri P.O.S..T Police officer certificatiion and adherre to P.O.S.T training requuirements
