Wednesday, December 9, 2020: This bid process resulted in three (3) Vendor responses, which were
opened, in the Commission Hearing Room, with the assistance of Andy Adams, Deputy Assessor, in the
absence of Susan Chapman, Assessor, publicly. After opening responses received, a decision was made
to allow time for a thorough review of said information by the Assessor.
Wednesday, December 30, 2020: A formal agenda request to make an award recommendation on
Monday, January 4, 2021 to the Taney County Commission has been requested and approved.
Monday, January 4, 2021: Due to the disqualification of Toyota of West Plains, for not complying with
requirements within the bid document, the number of qualified responses has been brought down to two
(2) remaining.
After a thorough review of the detailed pricing offered, Assessor Susan Chapman and I recommend
awarding Fletcher Auto Group, as the lowest bidder, and ask the Commission for a motion vote as such.
The Taney County Commission reviewed the information and made a motion to award Fletcher Auto
Group.
