TANEY COUNTY BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT
WEDNESDAY July 15, 2020, 6:00 P.M.
COUNTY COMMISSION HEARING ROOM
TANEY COUNTY COURT HOUSE
Call to Order:
Vice Chairman David Herd called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. Scott Starrett established a
quorum and an explanation of public hearing procedures, presentation of exhibits and governing
statutes. Mr. Herd swore in the speakers before the meeting.

Scott Starrett, Planning and Zoning Administrator was present by phone.
Review and Action:
Mr. Roebuck moved to approve the Regular Meeting Minutes from June 17, 2020. Mr. Caudill
seconded the motion. The motion passed by roll call vote: Trent Edwards (aye), David Herd
(aye), Rick Caudill (aye), Cory Roebuck (aye) and Rick Persinger (abstain).
Public Hearings:
#20-06V: Applicant Norman Smith was present. No one signed up to speak for or against the
application. Mr. Roebuck moved to approve the variance as requested. Mr. Caudill seconded the
motion. The motion passed by roll call vote: Trent Edwards (aye), David Herd (aye), Cory
Roebuck (aye), Rick Caudill (aye) and Rick Persinger (aye).
#20-07V: Applicant Kevin Evangelista was present. No one signed up to speak for or against the
application. Mr. Persinger moved to approve the variance as requested. Mr. Edwards seconded
the motion. The motion passed by roll call vote: Trent Edwards (aye), David Herd (aye), Cory
Roebuck (aye), Rick Caudill (aye) and Rick Persinger (aye).
#20-08V: Tammy King was present. She requested the hearing for their variance request be
postponed until the August meeting date so her husband could attend. Mr. Herd moved to
postpone the hearing for variance request #20-08V until August 19, 2020. Mr. Roebuck
seconded the motion. The motion passed by roll call vote: Trent Edwards (aye), David Herd
(aye), Cory Roebuck (aye), Rick Caudill (aye) and Rick Persinger (aye).
#20-10V: Representative for the applicant, Al Pulis was present. Also present was Don Miller for
the Assemblies of God and Attorney Sherri Harris, to represent Brandon Inskeep who is the
neighbor of the Assemblies of God Church. Mr. Caudill moved to approve the variance up to
1,000 square feet reduction for the parcel. Mr. Persinger seconded the motion. The motion
passed by roll call vote: Trent Edwards (aye), David Herd (aye), Cory Roebuck (aye), Rick
Caudill (aye) and Rick Persinger (aye).
Reconsideration Request:
Postponed until the next meeting on August 19, 2020.

Mr. Roebuck moved to adjourn the meeting at 7:00 p.m. Mr. Caudill seconded the motion. The
motion passed by roll call vote: Trent Edwards (aye), David Herd (aye), Cory Roebuck (aye),
