Wednesday, September30, 2020: After opening the one and only response received, which was opened
in public in the Commission Hearing Room with the assistance of Melissa Duckworth, Emergency
Management Assistant. Initial details were noted and documented. The bid response package will be
thoroughly reviewed by the Taney County Director of Emergency Management. An agenda request has
been made, and approved, to deliver a formal recommendation for award to the Taney County Commission
on Monday, October 15, 2020.
Monday, October 5, 2020: The Taney County Commission met today in reference to the above listed RFB
to hear and consider award recommendation information. The Office of Emergency Management is
requesting the approval from the Taney County Commission to purchase seven (7) UV-C Air & Surface
Disinfection Lamps which will be distributed to the following Fire Protection Districts; Branson Fire, Forsyth
Fire, Central Taney Fire and Western Fire. This purchase will allow those Fire Districts to better serve the
citizens during this pandemic.
Based on the above information, I am requesting a motion vote from the Taney County Commission to
award Neal Zeid/EA Medical, LLC, as the lowest and only bidder.
A subsequent Agreement will be issued for a 1-year period.
The Taney County Commission reviewed the information and made a motion to award Neal Zeid/EA
Medical, LLC.
