Wednesday, July 1, 2020: After opening all three (3) bidders packages from the above companies today,
initial details were noted and documented by Road & Bridge Asst. Administrator, Denzil Brown, and myself.
Two (2) No Bid Responses were received. The one (1) remaining response package will be thoroughly
reviewed by a Road & Bridge staff member. An agenda request has been made, and approved, to deliver
a formal recommendation for award to the Taney County Commission on Monday, July 6, 2020.
Monday, July 6, 2020: All responses qualified to participate with overall competitive pricing covering the
asked for De-Icing Materials needs for Taney County. Based on the above submitted pricing, we are
requesting a motion vote from the Taney County Commission to award Central Salt, LLC as the lowest and
only Bidder.
A subsequent Agreement will be issued for 12 months with three (3) additional one (1) year renewal options
per mutual agreement on pricing, product availability, delivery timeframes, etc.
The Taney County Commission reviewed the information, made a motion to as such and it passed
unanimously.
