MINUTES
TANEY COUNTY BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT
WEDNESDAY March 18, 2020, 6:00 P.M.
COUNTY COMMISSION HEARING ROOM
TANEY COUNTY COURT HOUSE
Call to Order:
Chairman Trent Edwards called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. Scott Starrett established a
quorum and an explanation of public hearing procedures, presentation of exhibits and governing
statutes. Mr. Edwards swore in the speakers before the meeting.
Present: Not Present:
Trent Edwards
Rick Persinger
Cory Roebuck
Rick Caudill
David Herd
Also present was Planning and Zoning Administrator Scott Starrett and Zoning Coordinator
Presley Cozort.
Review and Action:
Mr. Caudill moved to approve the Regular Session Minutes from February 19, 2020. Mr.
Persinger seconded the motion. The motion passed by roll call vote: Trent Edwards (aye), Rick
Persinger (aye), Cory Roebuck (aye), Rick Caudill (aye) and David Herd (aye).
Public Hearings:
#20-03V: Applicant Marvin Fitzgerald was present. Susan Ward was present and spoke for the
application. Mr. Caudill addressed a letter that was presented to the board from Linda Smith, a
neighbor who had concerns with the applicant’s project. Mr. Roebuck moved to approve the
variance as presented. Mr. Herd seconded the motion. The motion passed by roll call vote: Trent
Edwards (aye), Rick Persinger (aye), Cory Roebuck (aye), Rick Caudill (aye) and David Herd
(aye).
Old and New Business:
None.
Adjournment:
Mr. Caudill moved to adjourn the meeting at 6:32 p.m. Mr. Herd seconded the motion. The
motion passed by roll call vote: Trent Edwards (aye), Rick Persinger (aye), Cory Roebuck (aye),
Rick Caudill (aye) and David Herd (aye).
