Wednesday, May 13, 2020: This RFB was sent to qualified Vendors and we received several
responses back. After opening the responses, Sheriff Jimmie Russell assisted in verifying that
they were acceptable responses whereby he took a copy of each of the bid responses to conduct
a more thorough and complete review. An agenda request has been made, and approved, to
deliver an award recommendation to the Taney County Commission on Monday, May 18, 2020.
Monday, May 18, 2020: Subsequent to a thorough review of all responses, Sheriff Russell
recommends Hard Head Veterans, as the lowest bidder and the only response offering the
requested 10 year warranty.
As such we hereby ask for a motion vote to award to Hard Head Veterans for the purchase of
14 Ballistic Helmets.
The Taney County Commission reviewed the information, made a motion to as such and it
passed unanimously.
