Wednesday, March 18, 2020: One response was received to the above listed Bid. It was open
publicly reflecting the above information from the following Vendor: Ed’s Heating and Cooling.
Scott Terpening, Building & Grounds Coordinator, took possession of a copy of the response to
complete a thorough review of all information packages. An agenda request to deliver an award
recommendation to the Taney County Commission has been made, and approved, for Monday,
March 30, 2020.
Monday, March 30, 2020: After a thorough review, we formally recommend Ed’s Heating and
Cooling, as being the only bidder, although one (1) other bidder, The Waldinger Corporation,
completed the pre-bid certification in addition to Ed’s Heating and Cooling. We further recommend
the include within any motion to award this “term & supply contract: using the timeframe listed in
the RFB of three (3) years starting on Tuesday, March 31, 2020 running through March 30, 2023,
which may be automatically renewed for up to two (2) one-year periods unless canceled in writing
prior to a renewal period.
The Taney County Commission reviewed the information, made a motion to award as such, and
it passed unanimously.
