Tuesday December 31, 2019: This bid process resulted in the above Vendor responses.
Both were opened in the Commission Hearing Room, in public, after which a decision
was made to allow time for a thorough review of said information by Road & Bridge
Administrator Devin Huff. An agenda request was made, and approved, to deliver a
formal recommendation for award to the Taney County Commission on Monday
January 6, 2020.
Monday January 6, 2020: After a complete and thorough review of the detailed pricing
offered we discovered the new pricing response we received from Precision Scale, Inc.,
to be lower than it was 2 years ago. Therefore, Road & Bridge Administrator, Devin
Huff, and I recommended for award; Precision Scale & Controls, Inc. of St. Louis,
Missouri, to the Taney County Commission. After a brief discussion a motion vote was
made to award as recommended and it passed unanimously.
