Wednesday December 18, 2019: This Request For Bid (RFB) resulted in two responses
which we opened today in public. One response did not include all required documents to
be considered for this bid and was thereby rejected. The other response did qualify and
offered the above listed pricing details. Buildings & Grounds Supervisor, Scott Terpening,
and myself documented said pricing. Scott then took a copy of the qualified bid response
for a thorough review. An agenda request was made, and approved, for Monday
December 23, 2019 to deliver an award recommendation to the Taney County
Commission.
Monday December 23, 2019: During the review process, in reference to the above listed
bid for Appliance Repair services for the Taney County Jail, we determined the pricing
submitted above is the exact same from this same Vendor’s previous bid response as
was awarded in 2015. All other requirements as asked for in this new bid was completed
correctly by this Vendor including all attached forms with notarizations and current
references. Therefore we recommended Ozarks Food Equipment of; Springfield, Mo. for
award. The Taney County Commission then voted unanimously to award as such.
Any subsequent Agreement shall commence on the date it is fully executed and extend
for 12 initial months thereafter subject to the provisions for termination detailed within any
final Agreement. Said agreement will then auto-renew annually contingent on both
parties being fully satisfied with all stipulations, and costs as agreed to above.
Thank you.
