MINUTES
TANEY COUNTY BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT
WEDNESDAY September 25, 2019, 6:00 P.M.
COUNTY COMMISSION HEARING ROOM
TANEY COUNTY COURT HOUSE
Call To Order:
Chairman Howard Kitchen called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. Scott Starrett established a
quorum and an explanation of public hearing procedures, presentation of exhibits and governing
statutes. Mr. Kitchen swore in the speakers before the meeting.
Present: Not Present:
Howard Kitchen
David Herd
Cory Roebuck
Rick Persinger
Trent Edwards
Review and Action:
Mr. Edwards motioned to approve the Regular Session Minutes from the August 21, 2019
meeting. Mr. Roebuck seconded the motion. The motion passed by roll call vote: Howard
Kitchen (aye), David Herd (aye), Cory Roebuck (aye), Rick Persinger (aye) and Trent Edwards
(aye).
Public Hearings:
#19-04V: Applicant Kevin Hayden was present. No one was present to speak for or against the
application. Mr. Edwards motioned to approve the variance. Mr. Herd seconded the motion. The
motion passed by roll call vote: Howard Kitchen (aye), David Herd (aye), Cory Roebuck (aye),
Rick Persinger (aye) and Trent Edwards (aye).
#19-05V: Darryl Coontz with TCAD was present. No one was present to speak for or against the
application. Mr. Edwards motioned to approve the variance. Mr. Roebuck seconded the motion.
The motion passed by roll call vote: Howard Kitchen (aye), David Herd (aye), Cory Roebuck
(aye), Rick Persinger (aye) and Trent Edwards (aye).
#19-08A: Applicant Dennis Osborne was present with his attorney Megan McCullough. Gordon
Glass, Dennis Cook, Margaret Cook and Richard Sykes were present to speak against the
applicant. Chris Lucchi and Scott George were present to speak for the applicant. Mr. Herd
motioned to approve the appeal. Mr. Edwards seconded the motion. The motion passed by roll
call vote: Howard Kitchen (nay), David Herd (aye), Cory Roebuck (aye), Rick Persinger (aye)
and Trent Edwards (aye).

Mr. Roebuck motioned to adjourn at 7:11 p.m. Mr. Herd seconded the motion. The motion
passed by roll call vote: Howard Kitchen (aye), David Herd (aye), Cory Roebuck (aye), R ic k
