MINUTES
TANEY COUNTY BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT
WEDNESDAY August 21, 2019, 6:00 P.M.
COUNTY COMMISSION HEARING ROOM
TANEY COUNTY COURT HOUSE
The Taney County Board of Adjustment held an open session meeting on Wednesday, A ugust
21, 2019, located at Taney County Courthouse, County Commission Hearing room, 132 David
Street, Forsyth, Missouri. Chairman Howard Kitchen called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m .
Scott Starrett established a quorum, explanation o f public hearing procedures, presentation o f
exhibits and governing statutes. Mr. Kitchen swore in the speakers before the meeting.
Present Not Present

Trent Edwards
Rick Persinger
Also present was Scott Starrett, Planning Administrator.
Review and Action:
Mr. Herd moved to approve Regular Session Minutes from June 19, 2019. Mr. Persinger
seconded the motion. The motion passed by roll call vote: Howard Kitchen (aye), David Herd
(aye), Trent Edwards (aye), Rick Persinger (aye) and Cory Roebuck (absent).
Public Hearings:
#19-02V: James Hyde was present. Mr. Persinger moved to approve the variance. Mr. Edwards
seconded the motion. The motion passed by roll call vote: Howard Kitchen (aye), David Herd
(aye), Trent Edwards (aye), Rick Persinger (aye) and Cory Roebuck (absent).
# 19:03V: David and Ashley Eisenbarth were present. Mr. Persinger moved to approve the
variance with addition of a drive way easement being entered into their decision of record, get
the split of the two parcels as close to 1 and 1.3 acres as possible and for the applicants to allow
for a drive-way to be constructed along the road frontage. Mr. Herd seconded the motion. The
motion passed by roll call vote: Howard Kitchen (aye), David Herd (aye), Trent Edwards (aye),
Rick Persinger (aye) and Cory Roebuck (absent).
#19-08A: Postponed
Old and New Business:
Mr. Howard addressed the letter sent to them from the President o f FieldStone subdivision.
The board discussed changing the date of next month’s meeting from September 18th to

September 28 . Mr. Herd moved to approve the changing o f the date for next month’s m eeting.
Mr. Persinger seconded the motion. The motion passed by roll call vote: Howard Kitchen (a_ye),
David Herd (aye), Trent Edwards (aye), Rick Persinger (aye) and Cory Roebuck (absent).
Adjournment:
Mr. Edwards moved to adjourn at 6:31 p.m. Mr. Persinger seconded the m otion.. The m otion
