MINUTES
TANEY COUNTY BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT
WEDNESDAY June 19, 2019, 6:00 P.M.
COUNTY COMMISSION HEARING ROOM
TANEY COUNTY COURT HOUSE
The Taney County Board of Adjustment held an open session meeting on Wednesday, June 19,
2019, located at Taney County Courthouse, County Commission Hearing room, 132 David
Street, Forsyth, Missouri. Chairman Howard Kitchen called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.
Scott Starrett established a quorum, explanation o f public hearing procedures, presentation o f
exhibits and governing statutes. Mr. Kitchen swore in the speakers before the meeting.
Present: Not Present:
Howard Kitchen Trent Edwards
David Herd
Cory Roebuck
Rick Persinger
Also present was Scott Starrett, Planning Administrator.
Review and Action:
Mr. Roebuck moved to approve Closed Session Minutes from May 2, 2019 and Regular Meeting
Minutes from May 15, 2019. Mr. Herd seconded the motion. The motion passed by roll call vote:
Howard Kitchen (aye), David Herd (aye), Cory Roebuck (aye) and Rick Persinger (aye).
Public Hearings:
#19-06A: SMBZ LLC, appeal o f the Planning Commission decision on April 8, 2019 to deny
Division III permit #19-05 seeking nightly rental for future singe homes located in on
Woodbridge Drive and Jamie Court in the Woodbridge Estates Subdivision. Steve Creedon was
present and addressed to the board his reasons why the appeal should be reheard. Jim Whitman,
Lee and Bill Brewer, Julie Whyte, Mark McSadden, Monica Bryan, Lorene Hicks, Billy Ong,
Scott Brinley, Gary Brennan, Gilbert Miranck, John Matt Giovanetti are all residents of
Woodbridge Estates and were present to speak against the appeal. Mr. Persinger made a motion
to deny the request. Mr. Roebuck seconded the motion. The motion passed by roll call vote:
Howard Kitchen (aye), David Herd (aye), Cory Roebuck (aye) and Rick Persinger (aye).
#19-07A: SMBZ LLC, appeal of the Planning Commission decision on April 8, 2019 to deny
Division III permit #19-06 seeking nightly rental for 9 lots, 8 lots in W olf Trail Estates and 1 lot
in Timber W olf Estates Subdivision located in Hollister, Missouri. The Planning Commission
based their original denial of the permit due to density issues and needing more inform ation for
the nightly rental projects. Mr. Herd made a motion to approve the appeal. Mr. Persinger
seconded the motion. The motion passed by roll call vote: Howard Kitchen (aye), David H e rd
(aye), Cory Roebuck (aye) and Rick Persinger (aye).

Adjournment:
Mr. Kitchen made a motion to adjourn at 7:17 p.m. Mr. Roebuck seconded the motion. The
motion passed by roll call vote: Howard Kitchen (aye), David Herd (aye), Cory Roebuck (aye)
and Rick Persinger (aye).
