TANEY COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION
PUBLIC HEARING & REGULAR MEETING
MONDAY June 10, 2019, 6:00 P.M.
COUNTY COMMISSION HEARING ROOM
TANEY COUNTY COURT HOUSE

The Taney County Planning Commission held a public hearing on Monday June 10, 2019,
located at Taney County Courthouse, County Commission Hearing room, 132 David Street,
Forsyth, Missouri. Howard Kitchen called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.

Also present was Planning Administrator Scott Starrett.

Mr. Starrett read a statement outlining the procedures for the meeting and presented the exhibits.

Review and Action:
Mr. H uff made a motion to approve the May 13, 2019 minutes with change to case #19-17 by
taking out MoDot and replacing it with Taney County. Mr. Caudill seconded the motion. The
motion passed by roll call vote: Howard Kitchen (aye), Devin H uff (aye), Randy Fogle (aye),
Doug Faubion (aye), Dave Stewart (aye) and Rick Caudill (aye).

Public Hearing and Final Vote:
#19-04: Meyer Land Development. Gale Meyer with Meyer Land Development, Sharon Nance
and Perry Garrett residents of Whisper Cove was present. Mr. Fogle made a motion to approve
the application as presented with the additional decision o f record items. Mr. Caudill seconded
the motion. The motion passed by roll call vote: Howard Kitchen (aye), Devin Huff (aye), Randy
Fogle (aye), Doug Faubion (aye), Dave Stewart (aye) and Rick Caudill (aye).
#19-19: Creation Ministries of the Ozarks. Gary Brooks who is on the board of directors w ith the
Creation Ministries of the Ozarks was present. No one signed up to speak against or for the
application. Mr. Faubion moved to approve the application. Mr. Stewart seconded the m otion.
The motion passed by roll call vote: Howard Kitchen (aye), Devin Huff (aye), Randy Fogle
(aye), Doug Faubion (aye), Dave Stewart (aye) and Rick Caudill (aye).

Concepts:
#19-26: Withdrew project

#19-27: PerfectSigns.com. Michael Cooper, owner ofPerfectSigns.com was present. The
Planning Commission informed Mr. Cooper he would need to contact Kendall with City of
Branson Sewer Department and Dusty a representative with MoDot.

#19-28: Tamela Sandberg and Robin Hendry. The Planning Commission informed Ms. Sandberg
and Mr. Hendry they would need to discuss their nightly rental idea with all their neighbors.

#19-29: Branson Cedar Resort. Michael Hyams, owner o f Branson Cedar Resorts was present.
Mr. Starrett explained steps Mr. Hyams needed to do before the next public hearing on July 8,
2019.

Old and New Business:
Taney County Guidance Code, Appendix S Medical Marijuana. The Planning Commission
discussed medical marijuana cultivation and transportation facilities and regulating distances.
Mr. Starrett requested it be put on the next public hearing on July 8, 2019 for approval and
recommendation to the County Commission.

Adjournment:
Mr. Faubion moved to adjourn at 7:56 p.m. Mr. Caudill seconded the motion. The motion passed
by roll call vote: Howard Kitchen (aye), Devin H uff (aye), Randy Fogle (aye), Doug Faubion
(aye), Dave Stewart (aye) and Rick Caudill (aye).
