Wednesday October 30, 2019: After opening responses from both of the above listed companies today,
bid pricing response details were noted and documented by Taney County Road & Bridge Office Manager
Kathy Roberts and me. Said responses will be thoroughly reviewed by Taney County Road & Bridge Staff
Members. Shortly afterward an agenda request was made, and approved, to deliver a formal
recommendation for award to the Taney County Commission on Monday November 4, 2019.
Monday November 4, 2019: After a thorough review process of both responses, with results as listed
above, Oakland Lubrication Company of Nixa, Missouri offered lower pricing overall. Therefore we
recommended to the Taney County Commission to award to Oakland Lubrication Company as Primary
Provider. Schaeffer Manufacturing offered a response which allowed us to recommend them as
Secondary Provider for this bid. Included in our recommendation is a subsequent Agreement which will
auto-renew for 12 months after an initial period of 12 months. This applies to both Vendors.
By a unanimous motion vote - the Taney County Commission, awarded as recommended above.
