Wednesday August 28, 2019: After opening responses from all of the above listed companies today, bid
pricing response details were noted and documented by Taney County Road & Bridge Administrator and
me. All of the complete response packages will be thoroughly reviewed by Taney County Road & Bridge
Staff Members. Shortly afterward an agenda request was made, and approved, to deliver a formal
recommendation for award to the Taney County Commission on Tuesday September 3, 2019.
Tuesday September 3, 2019: After a thorough review process of all responses, with results as listed
above, Graphic Designs International out of Stuart, Florida, offered the lowest pricing in every category as
asked for. They also offer the best warranty for both areas as asked for. Therefore in an effort to make the
best choices for the County we recommended to the Taney County Commission to award to “Graphic
Designs International” as Primary Provider and “Signs Now”, of Branson, Mo. as Secondary Provider for
this bid. “Signs Now” is the next lowest Bidder and can offer immediate solutions locally if any delays, or
problems of any nature, were to arise with the Primary Provider.
Included in our recommendation is a subsequent Agreement, which will apply to both the Primary Provider
and Secondary Provider – if awarded as such, for an initial period of 12 months. Both agreements will then
auto-renew annually contingent on all parties being fully satisfied with all stipulations, and costs as agreed
to, offered by both bid responses. A complete review, by the Taney County Road & Bridge Administrator,
will occur at each 12 month interval to the date said Agreements are fully executed ensuring complete
ongoing satisfaction on the part of County.
A motion was made to award as such and The Taney County Commission then voted unanimously to
award as recommended.
