RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES D
 Process inmates into and release inmattes from jail
 Move inmates between ceells
 Inspect inmaate cells for un
nauthorized goods
g
 Assign, supeervise and insspect the work k of inmates engaged
e in onn-site clean upp
 Maintain varrious jail recoords and logs and write daiily reports
 Review policies and proccedures on a periodic
p basis
 Detect and recognize
r poteential hazardss in the facilitty for the safeety of the inm
mates
 Interact and communicatee effectively with
w inmates and staff to m maintain orderr in the facilitty
 Use sound juudgment, selff-control and common sensse to quickly de-escalate hhostile situatioons when theyy arise

ALIFICATIO
QUA ONS AND SK KILLS
 High Schooll Diploma or GED preferreed
 Must be at leeast 21 years of age
 Working kno owledge of coomputer harddware, softwarre and accesssories
 Knowledgeaable of rules, regulations
