Wednesday March 6, 2019: After opening all packages we received for this bid - we were required
to reject, or disqualify, one (1) response for not supplying a required W9 form as well as leaving off a
few pages of the bid. The details as listed above are from the three (3) qualifying responses
received for the above listed RFB, opened in the Commission Hearing Room – in public, by myself
and Road & Bridge Highway Administrator Devin Huff and Assistant Highway Administrator Denzil
Brown. Mr. Huff took copies of the three (3) responses to complete a thorough review of all
information. An agenda request was made, and approved, to deliver a recommendation for award to
the Taney County Commission on Monday March 11, 2019.
Monday March 11, 2019: Subsequent to a thorough review of the detailed pricing offered, as listed
above, Mr. Huff recommended that our Metal Decorative Fencing Materials bid be awarded to
Wheeler Metals, Inc. - as the low Bidder.
A motion was made to award as recommended and the Taney County Commission passed it
unanimously.
