The Taney County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office is accepting applications for the position of
Assistant Prosecuting Attorney.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

 Reviewing reports, follow-up investigation and preparation for appropriate criminal charges ranging
from infractions to misdemeanors to felonies.
 Represent the State of Missouri in any and all criminal cases that are filed in Taney County.
 Represent the State of Missouri at formal depositions of witnesses and victims.
 Formulate and prepare trial strategies.
 Represent Prosecutor’s Office in the community at speaking and teaching engagements.

REQUIREMENTS
 Bachelor’s Degree from a four (4) year college.
 Juris Doctor (JD) Degree from an ABA-accredited law school (3 years).
 Licensed to practice law in the state of Missouri.
 Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.

SALARY/BENEFITS: Commensurate with experience. Health and retirement benefits package
provided by employer.
