THE JULY ADJOURN TERM

PRELIMINARY STUDY
The County Commission met in the Commission Conference Room at 8:40 a.m. with Mike
Scofield (present), Brandon Williams (absent), and Sheila Wyatt (present).

The Commission met to review the day’s agenda.

CALL TO ORDER
Presiding Commissioner Scofield called the Commission meeting to order at 9:03 a.m.

FORMAL AGENDA
The County Commission met in the Commission Hearing Room with Mike Scofield (present),
Brandon Williams (present), and Sheila Wyatt (present).

COMMISSION REMARKS
None.

APPROVE ACCOUNTS PAYABLE
Commissioner Williams moved to approve Checks #451525 thru #451604, Warrants #7059 thru
#7062, and 3 Journal Entries or Transfers. Commissioner Wyatt seconded the motion. The
motion passed by vote: Scofield (aye), Williams (aye), and Wyatt (aye).

APPROVAL OF PREVIOUS MEETING MINUTES
Commissioner Williams moved to approve Regular Session Minutes for September 12, 2018.
Commissioner Wyatt seconded the motion. The motion passed by vote: Scofield (aye), Williams
(aye), and Wyatt (aye).

Commissioner Williams moved to approve Executive Session Minutes September 4 and
September 10, 2018. Commissioner Wyatt seconded the motion. The motion passed by vote:
Scofield (aye), Williams (aye), and Wyatt (aye).

APPROVAL OF PAYROLL
Commissioner Wyatt moved to approve Payroll. Commissioner Williams seconded the motion.
The motion passed by vote: Scofield (aye), Williams (aye), and Wyatt (aye).

PROPERTY & LIABILITY INSURANCE RECOMMENDATION #201807-413
Commissioner Williams stated that the Commission met Monday the 10th with Ron Erickson,
Ruth Denham, and Dawn Muller. It was then established that the Sheriffs Department and Road
and Bridge Department are the ones with more employees and was asking for trainings and
different things. The Commission, Sheriff Russell, and Road & Bridge met with each individual
company on Wednesday the 12th.

Commissioner Williams asked Sheriff Russell and Devin Huff, Taney County Highway
Administrator to join the discussion regarding the recommendation of Property and Liability
Insurance.

Taney County Auditor Rick Findley brought questions to the Commission concerning the
insurance advisors.

Discussion ensued.

Commissioner Wyatt moved to do the Property and Liability with Connell Insurance.
Commissioner Williams seconded the motion. The motion passed by vote: Scofield (aye),
Williams (aye), and Wyatt (aye).

COON CREEK ROAD CHANGE ORDER #1 #18-085RB
Mr. Huff came before the Commission to discuss the Coon Creek Road Change Order No. 1.

Commissioner Williams moved to approve the Coon Creek Road Change Order No. 1 file #18-
085RB. Commissioner Wyatt seconded the motion. The motion passed by vote: Scofield (aye),
Williams (aye), and Wyatt (aye).
