MARCH 23, 2006 THE 29TH DAY
OF THE JANUARY ADJOURN TERM
The County Commission met in the County Commission Office at 11:00 a.m.
pursuant to adjourn with Chuck Pennel, Presiding and Danny Strahan, Eastern District
present. Ron Herschend, Western District was absent. The following proceedings were
had and made a matter of record.
JOHN LAVENDER
COMP TIME
Commissioner Strahan made a motion to approve the payment of comp time for
John Lavender. Commissioner Pennel seconded the motion. The motion passed by vote:
Pennel (yes), Herschend (absent), Strahan (yes).
RECESS
RECONVENE
The County Commission reconvened at the Kirbyville Middle School at 7:00 p.m.
pursuant to adjourn with Chuck Pennel, Presiding, Ron Herschend, Western District, and
Danny Strahan, Eastern District present. The following proceedings were had and made a
matter of record.
The prayer was led by Bobby Fausett followed by the pledge.
BUILDING CODES
Presiding Commissioner Pennel opened up discussion for the building code issue
that will be on the ballot at the April 4, 2006 Municipal Election of Taney County. The
public was then given the opportunity to express their opinions and concerns regarding
the issue. A general discussion ensued. No motions were made and no votes were taken.
Ordered that the Commission recess.
