Sections of hail damaged roof requiring steel roofing materials repair: $41,160.00
Sections of hail damaged roof requiring asphalt shingles materials repair: $6,880.00
GRAND TOTAL: $115,040.00
Monday August 27, 2018: Despite newspaper advertising and direct email bid invitations to
multiple roofing Vendors we only received one bid response package. After opening that
response package from the above listed company, today, initial details were noted and
documented – as listed above - by Buildings & Grounds Supervisors Renee Brusca and Scott
Terpening, as well as myself. This response package will be thoroughly reviewed by them. My
review was able to quantify a complete response with all required signatures present as well as
notarized certificates, W9, and proof of insurance.
An agenda request has been made, and approved, to deliver a formal recommendation for award
to the Taney County Commission on Tuesday August 28, 2018.
Tuesday August 28, 2018: After a complete and thorough review, of the above response by staff
members at Buildings and Grounds, said package was found to be fully qualified and include
structured pricing consistent with, or below, insurance repair authorizations. Therefore we
recommended Advantage Roofing of Walnut Grove, Missouri for this bid as the overall best
choice for Taney County Missouri. The Taney County Commission then voted unanimously to
award as recommended authorizing said repair work to begin as soon as an Agreement is
signed. Said Agreement will expire upon satisfactory completion of all listed repair work.
