WEDNESDAY, APRIL 18, 2018, 6:00 P.M.
COUNTY COMMISSION HEARING ROOM
TANEY COUNTY COURTHOUSE

Call to Order:
Chairman Dan Boone called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. A quorum w as
established with three members present. They were; Dan Boone, David Herd, and Trent
Edwards. Staff present; Scott Starrett, and Bonita Kissee-Soutee. The governing
statutes were read by Mr. Starrett who also read a statement outlining the procedures
for this meeting and presented the exhibits.

Mr. Starrett explained that only three members would be present this meeting
therefore if any applicant wished to postpone until a full board could be present they
could do so. All appeals chose to postpone until the next meeting. The variance
request was heard.

Review and Action:
Minutes, February and March 2018; with no additions or correction a motion was
made by Mr. Edwards to approve both sets of minutes as written. Seconded by Mr.
Herd. The vote to approve the minutes was unanimous.

Reconsideration request:
#18-03A; Susan Smith and Karen Murphy/Appeal Planning Commission Decision
regarding Case #17-37 to allow nightly rental on property located at 114 Fieldstone.
Postponed.

Public Hearings:
#18-02V; Beverly Anderson/Proposed front setback variance on property located
at 200 Boo Boo Lane for the construction of a garage. Mr. Starrett read the staff report
and explained that this request had been postponed until a meeting with the
Architectural Commission could be arranged. The applicant met with the Architectural
Committee and presented a site plan. Discussion followed with the applicant and a
member of the committee. The applicant is proposing to reduce the setback a foot
which is agreeable to the committee member present, Mr. Eckley. It was decided on 9'
8". The motion was made by Mr. Herd seconded by Mr. Edwards. The vote to approve
was unanimous.

#17-08A; Brian and Jessica Cox/appeal the Planning Commission decision to
deny nightly rental on property located at 109 N. Tuscany Dr. Mr. and Mrs. Cox will be
presenting new evidence regarding why the Planning Commission decision should be
overturned. Postponed.
#17-09A; Jana Hilt/ appeal the Planning Commission decision regarding Case
#17-042 to deny nightly rental on property located at 166 Kings Way. Postponed.

#18-01A; Thomas and Susan Unger/appeal the Planning Commission decision
regarding case #17-030 to allow nightly rental on property located at 1345 Oakwood
Dr. Postponed.

Old and New business:
No discussion.

Adjournment:
With no other business on the agenda for April 18, 2018 the meeting adjourned
at 6:17 p.m.
